Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Vim Python IDE and Talk&Buy.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Talk&Buy's answer:

Most online stores are anonymous โ€” customers come and go without any interaction. Talk&Buy brings the human element back to e-commerce. No other platform lets you see your customers walking around your store and reach out to them in real time. It also includes hosting, payments, courier integration, and 23 languages โ€” everything in one place, no plugins needed.

What makes your product unique?

Talk&Buy's answer:

Talk&Buy is the only e-commerce platform where customers physically walk through a 2D virtual store and can see other shoppers in real time. Store owners can initiate a live chat with any visitor before they leave โ€” just like a shop assistant in a physical store.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Talk&Buy's answer:

Small store owners who sell niche, handmade, vintage, or collectible products โ€” where the relationship with the customer matters. Boutique shops, Etsy-style sellers, and anyone who wants to stand out from generic online stores.

What's the story behind your product?

Talk&Buy's answer:

I ran my own online store for 11 years โ€” a store I built myself from scratch. About 7 years ago I had an idea: what if customers could actually walk through a virtual store, approach shelves, and buy real products? I loved the concept but kept putting it off. Then growing EU bureaucracy forced me to shut down my physical goods store. But instead of walking away from e-commerce, I decided to go back to that old idea. I had 11 years of experience running a store โ€” I knew what actually matters to a shop owner and what doesn't. Selling a digital product is also a bit easier to manage. So I closed my old store and opened a new one โ€” a store that sells online stores. That's Talk&Buy.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Talk&Buy's answer:
