We execute a hard physical delete on the database level the very second a note is opened. There are no tracking pixels no advertisements and absolutely no recovery options.

The platform actually began as a small security feature inside a much larger monolithic web application. Our engineer Andrea at Anselerate noticed that the secure notes tool was incredibly popular but it was buried under unrelated link management features. We decided to perform a surgical extraction. We cloned the original architecture stripped away everything unrelated to secure routing and launched ViewAndBurn as a dedicated standalone utility.
Our primary goal was to create the fastest and safest way to share secrets online.
