VettBase is a security questionnaire answer workspace for small B2B software teams that need to answer buyer security reviews faster.

It helps SaaS founders, AI tool builders, Shopify app developers, WordPress plugin makers, independent B2B builders, and agencies organize their security answers in one place. Teams can keep company facts, generate draft responses, save reviewed wording, reuse approved answers across future questionnaires, flag missing information, and export answers or a simple Trust Pack.

VettBase is useful when buyers ask about hosting, encryption, subprocessors, backups, AI usage, access control, data deletion, incident response, privacy, and security policies.

The product is intentionally lighter than large compliance platforms. It is made for small teams that are not ready for a full enterprise compliance workflow but still need a cleaner way to handle repeated buyer security questions.

VettBase is not legal advice, security advice, SOC 2 certification, GDPR certification, or compliance certification. It is practical drafting and answer-organization software for teams that want to answer security questionnaires more consistently without inventing unsupported claims.

socketify.py features and specs

  • High Performance
Socketify.py is designed for high scalability and performance, leveraging an efficient event loop and native extensions to handle a large number of concurrent connections efficiently.
  • WebSocket Support
The library provides built-in support for WebSockets, making it suitable for real-time applications where persistent connections between client and server are necessary.
  • Asynchronous I/O
Socketify.py is built on top of asynchronous I/O paradigms, allowing non-blocking operations that can improve the throughput of networked applications.
  • Ease of Use
The library offers a clean and straightforward API with examples and documentation, which lowers the barrier to entry for developers who are new to network programming in Python.
  • Python Integration
Being a Python library, socketify.py integrates well with existing Python applications and can be included as part of larger, multi-component systems.

Possible disadvantages of socketify.py

  • Limited Adoption
As a relatively new or niche library, socketify.py might have a smaller user base and community compared to more established frameworks like Flask or Django, which could result in fewer community resources and third-party integrations.
  • Learning Curve
For developers who are accustomed to synchronous programming paradigms, adapting to the asynchronous programming model of socketify.py may require an initial learning investment.
  • Documentation Depth
While there is documentation, it might not be as extensive or comprehensive as those of more mature libraries, potentially requiring more experimentation or source code reading to fully grasp advanced features.
  • Potential Stability Issues
Being less established, there might be undiscovered bugs or stability issues in production environments compared to long-standing Python networking libraries.
  • Ecosystem Limitations
The library might lack some of the extensive third-party plugins or tools available in more popular frameworks, which could limit its extensibility.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing VettBase and socketify.py.

What makes your product unique?

VettBase's answer

VettBase is built specifically for small B2B software teams that need to answer buyer security questionnaires without using a heavy compliance platform too early. It combines company facts, AI-assisted draft answers, a reusable answer bank, missing-information checks, and simple exports in one workspace. The focus is practical security questionnaire drafting and answer organization, not pretending to be SOC 2 certification or legal advice.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

VettBase's answer

VettBase is lighter and more direct than large compliance or trust-center platforms. It is made for small SaaS teams, AI tool builders, Shopify app developers, WordPress plugin makers, and agencies that need to answer repeated buyer security questions faster. Instead of forcing a full enterprise compliance workflow, VettBase helps teams save reviewed answers, reuse approved wording, generate drafts from company information, and flag missing details before sending unsupported claims.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

VettBase's answer

VettBase is for small B2B software teams that sell products or services to businesses and need to answer buyer security questionnaires. The main audience includes SaaS founders, AI tool builders, Shopify app developers, WordPress plugin makers, independent B2B builders, and agencies that need a reusable place for security answers before they have a full compliance department.

What's the story behind your product?

VettBase's answer

VettBase was created around a common but overlooked B2B SaaS problem: buyer security questionnaires. Small teams often answer the same questions about hosting, encryption, subprocessors, backups, AI usage, access control, deletion, incident response, and policies from scattered documents or old messages. VettBase was built to make that workflow calmer and more consistent by helping teams keep company facts, draft answers, save reviewed wording, and reuse approved responses.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

VettBase's answer

VettBase is built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Supabase, OpenAI API, Stripe, and Vercel. Supabase is used for authentication and cloud-saved workspace data, OpenAI is used for AI-assisted answer drafting, Stripe is used for billing infrastructure, and Vercel is used for deployment.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

VettBase's answer

VettBase is currently in early public beta, so there are no public customer logos to list yet. The product is being tested for small SaaS teams, AI tool builders, Shopify app developers, WordPress plugin makers, independent B2B builders, and agencies that need to answer buyer security questionnaires faster.

  • This is how I started the development of the fastest ASGI and WSGI Server in TechEmPower Benchmarks
After starting the project called socketify.py at https://github.com/cirospaciari/socketify.py, I got pretty good results and reviews, but many people asked if socketify.py could be used to create a WSGI and ASGI server. WSGI and ASGI have a lot of overhead, that's is why I choose not to use them in the first place, but adding an ASGI and WSGI server allows a lot of code already written to run faster!
