About Vessel and Postform

In their own words, as submitted to SaaSHub.

Vessel
Postform

300,000+ OpenClaw instances are currently exposed on the public internet (Shodan: port 18789). Most self-hosted setups miss the tunnel, skip the required flags, share containers. When your agent processes untrusted input and holds access to your accounts, that gap matters. Vessel provides...

Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Vessel 5 features
Postform 5 features
  • Isolation
Dedicated GCP VM per agent: own kernel, own disk, no shared tenants
  • Security
Cloudflare Tunnel only: no public IP, no exposed port 18789
  • Provisioning
Web dashboard: secure provision and simple onboarding
  • Runtime
OpenClaw (open-source always-on AI agent runtime)
  • Monitoring
Channel connectivity, gateway health, and agent status from the dashboard
  • Simple Form Backend
Postform provides a straightforward form backend service that allows developers to add form functionality to static websites without needing to write server-side code or manage a backend infrastructure.
  • Easy Integration
Integration is typically as simple as pointing your HTML form's action attribute to a Postform endpoint, making it very quick to set up for static sites, landing pages, and JAMstack projects.
  • No Server-Side Code Required
Postform eliminates the need to set up and maintain server-side code for handling form submissions, which is ideal for developers working with static site generators or simple HTML pages.
  • Email Notifications
Form submissions can be forwarded directly to your email, providing a convenient way to receive and manage responses without needing to log into a separate dashboard constantly.
  • Spam Protection
Postform includes spam filtering mechanisms to help reduce unwanted or bot-generated form submissions, saving users time on managing junk entries.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Brand Recognition
Postform is a lesser-known service compared to competitors like Formspree, Getform, or Basin, which means there may be fewer community resources, tutorials, and third-party integrations available.
  • Feature Limitations on Free Tier
Like many form backend services, Postform may impose restrictions on the number of submissions, forms, or features available on free or lower-tier plans, which could be limiting for growing projects.
  • Vendor Dependency
Relying on a third-party service for form handling means your forms are dependent on Postform's uptime and continued operation. If the service goes down or shuts down, your forms stop working.
  • Limited Customization
Compared to building your own backend, using Postform may offer limited options for custom processing logic, advanced validation, or complex workflows triggered by form submissions.
  • Data Privacy Concerns
Sending form data through a third-party service means your users' data passes through and is stored on external servers, which may raise privacy or compliance concerns depending on your industry or region.

Analysis

An editorial look at what each product does well and who it suits.

Vessel
Postform

Overall verdict

  • Vessel appears to be a wellness and supplement-oriented brand, but as with any health product company, its quality depends on ingredient transparency, third-party testing, and verified customer results. Without independent lab verification and credible reviews, it's best approached with cautious optimism rather than firm endorsement.

Why this product is good

  • Focuses on wellness and health-oriented products, which appeals to consumers seeking natural or supplement-based solutions
  • May offer convenience through direct-to-consumer online ordering
  • Brand positioning suggests an emphasis on personal health and self-care
  • Potential subscription or bundled options that can offer value for regular users

Recommended for

  • Consumers interested in wellness and supplement products who do their own due diligence
  • People who prefer buying health products online directly from a brand
  • Shoppers who value convenience and are willing to verify ingredient sourcing and reviews before purchasing
  • Individuals seeking self-care or health-support routines who can consult a healthcare professional first

Overall verdict

  • I don't have verified, up-to-date information confirming the existence, features, or reputation of a product/service called 'Postform' at postform.com, so I can't reliably assess whether it's good or not.

Why this product is good

  • No confirmed data available on this specific platform's features, pricing, or reliability
  • Domain/product names can change ownership or purpose over time, making claims risky without verification
  • Providing a fabricated assessment could mislead you into making a poor decision

Recommended for

  • Anyone considering this tool should visit the official website directly to review current features and pricing
  • Check independent review sites like G2, Trustpilot, or Capterra for user feedback
  • Look for recent user testimonials or case studies to verify legitimacy and effectiveness
  • Test any free trial or demo version before committing to a paid plan

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Vessel and Postform.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Vessel's answer

  • GCP Compute Engine (dedicated VMs per agent)
  • Cloudflare Tunnels (encrypted inbound, no public IP)
  • OpenClaw (open-source AI agent runtime, MIT license)
  • Next.js 14 App Router (dashboard, GCP Cloud Run)
  • Express.js (API layer, GCP Cloud Run)
  • Supabase Postgres (database and auth)
  • GCP Cloud Build (CI/CD)

What makes your product unique?

Vessel's answer

Vessel is managed hosting for OpenClaw built around privacy and security first. Most OpenClaw hosting providers share containers or expose default ports. Vessel gives every agent its own dedicated GCP VM: its own kernel, its own disk, no shared memory with other tenants. No public IP. No exposed port 18789. All inbound traffic routes through an encrypted Cloudflare Tunnel. 300,000+ self-hosted OpenClaw instances are currently exposed on the public internet. Vessel makes secure, isolated deployment the default.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Vessel's answer

Most OpenClaw hosting alternatives use shared containers or expose the default port 18789 publicly. When your agent handles client data, credentials, and sensitive correspondence, shared infrastructure introduces risks that are hard to audit and harder to explain to clients. Vessel provides kernel-level isolation per agent, Cloudflare Tunnel inbound (zero port exposure), and full lifecycle management from a web dashboard: no server configuration required.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Vessel's answer

Founders, marketers, lawyers, accountants, and professionals who run OpenClaw AI agents for serious work: client research, financial data, sensitive correspondence, automated workflows that touch real accounts. They need their agent to be always-on and private, but they are not infrastructure engineers and do not want to become one. Vessel is for people who want to use OpenClaw and need a trustworthy place to run it.

What's the story behind your product?

Vessel's answer

When OpenClaw launched in late 2025, it introduced something genuinely new: a persistent AI agent runtime that connects to the platforms professionals actually use and runs around the clock. What it lacked was production-grade infrastructure. The default setup exposes port 18789 publicly and leaves users to sort out tunnels, secrets, and isolation themselves. 300,000+ instances ended up exposed on the internet as a result.

I built Vessel to fill that gap. If your agent is going to handle real work, it deserves real infrastructure: dedicated VM, encrypted tunnel, locked-down defaults, lifecycle tooling. Without requiring you to be a cloud engineer.

  • What Self-Hosting OpenClaw Actually Costs (It's Not Just the VPS)
I built Vessel because I didn't want to be the one reading that Monday notification. Dedicated GCP VM, Cloudflare Tunnel, patches and security hardening applied. Your time costs more than that. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
