Yes, we (Managecast) fully support dedicated ReFS volumes which are particularly cost effective for clients with long-term retention requirements. If you google "Veeam long term retention" we (Managecast) are the first link you see after the veeam.com links. It's a link to a 2016 blog posting where we discuss this issue.
