CostQ.ai's answer:
CostQ was born out of a simple yet pressing problemโAWS costs are complex, unpredictable, and often too high for startups and growing businesses.
As an AWS Advanced Partner, We worked closely with companies struggling to optimize their cloud spending. We noticed that while large enterprises had dedicated FinOps teams to manage cloud costs, startups and SMBs lacked the time, expertise, or resources to do the same.
Thatโs when we asked: What if businesses could optimize AWS costs effortlessly?
CostQ was designed to solve this. Unlike traditional cloud cost management tools, we combined:
-AI-powered cost insights for automated optimization
-Group buying discounts to lower AWS bills collectively
-No vendor lock-in or complex pricing models
Our goal is simpleโhelp businesses save on AWS without the headache of managing it themselves.

Is the $1,350 monthly premium worth saving 17 engineer hours? At our fully-loaded engineer cost ($120/hour), that's about $2,040 in engineer time saved. So yes, the math works out. Bottom Line: Is It Worth It? After all the optimization work, are we still using Auto Mode? Absolutely. Is it the cheapest option? Nope, not even close. Our optimized EC2 setup still costs less. But the time we've saved not managing... - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
