The service may not support all email clients, restricting its use to those supported, which can be an inconvenience for some users.

Possible disadvantages of Thread Notes

  • Limited Brand Recognition
Thread Notes is a relatively niche and lesser-known tool compared to established note-taking apps like Notion, Evernote, or Obsidian, which means fewer community resources and integrations.
  • Limited Feature Set
Compared to more full-featured note-taking platforms, Thread Notes may lack advanced features such as rich media embedding, extensive formatting options, or collaboration tools.
  • Uncertain Long-Term Viability
As a smaller, independent product, there may be concerns about long-term maintenance, updates, and whether the service will continue to be supported over time.
  • Lack of Integrations
Thread Notes may not offer robust integrations with other productivity tools, calendars, or project management platforms that many users rely on in their workflows.
  • Limited Offline Support
As a web-based tool, Thread Notes may have limited or no offline functionality, which can be a drawback for users who need to access their notes without an internet connection.

  • What small things did you do to prepare....
Thought I would drop this here for those looking to unsubscribe. Doesn't work 100% but has helped me clean a lot out. https://unroll.me/. Source: about 3 years ago
  • I don't think the world is ready for Code Interpreter.
Hey. I hope you get access to it soon. I'm developing a plugin similar to unroll.me - it will help you to unsubscribe from those unwanted pesky emails automatically. To be honest, I'm developing this for myself, I'm not sure if I would even release it publicly since most people are not comfortable sharing email access with 3rd parties (and rightfully so). Source: about 3 years ago
  • I keep getting brute force emails from tons of websites, what do I do?
Most of these are just newsletters and typical spam. They have your email to send you this stuff from when you made your old accounts. You can unsubscribe from each service manually (usually a small "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each email). Or try this tool to unsubscribe from most of them quickly. Source: about 3 years ago
