Analysis of UltraViewer

Overall verdict

  • UltraViewer is generally considered a good entry-level remote access tool, particularly for users seeking a free and hassle-free solution. It is well-suited for personal and small business use, especially when budget constraints make more advanced options less viable. However, it's important to note that while UltraViewer is sufficient for many basic remote support needs, it might lack some advanced features and security options found in premium remote desktop solutions.

Why this product is good

  • UltraViewer is a remote desktop software that is widely appreciated for its simplicity and ease of use. It allows users to provide or receive remote assistance, enabling efficient collaboration or troubleshooting without the need for physical presence. Users find its straightforward interface and lightweight installation appealing, especially when compared to other more complex remote access tools. Additionally, UltraViewer supports multiple connections simultaneously, making it useful for users who need to assist multiple clients at once.

Recommended for

UltraViewer is recommended for small business owners who need to provide remote support, IT technicians looking for a budget-friendly remote assistance tool, and individuals who occasionally need to offer or receive remote help from friends or family members.

Analysis of api-usage

Overall verdict

  • Without independent verification, api-usage (apiusage.info) cannot be confidently confirmed as a good or reliable service since there is insufficient public information, reviews, or track record available to assess its quality, security, and support.

Why this product is good

  • Limited publicly available information makes it difficult to verify claims about the service
  • No substantial user reviews or third-party assessments found to confirm reliability or performance
  • Unclear track record regarding uptime, customer support quality, or data security practices
  • Potential newer or niche player in the API monitoring/usage tracking space with limited market validation

Recommended for

  • Users willing to conduct their own due diligence and testing before committing
  • Those seeking a possibly low-cost or niche alternative to established API usage tracking tools
  • Developers comfortable trying newer services and providing feedback
  • Not recommended for enterprises requiring proven, well-documented vendor reliability without further research

Not sure if I should post this here. I'm looking for an alternative to Teamviewer, I would prefer a free opensource alternative but doesn't have to be. I would like it to be just an executable that they click on and I'm connected. I have tried Anydesk, and Parsec but I have not been satisfied. I am yet to try UltraViewer, I have heard itโ€™s good, and I am hoping it will work. Do you guys have any other suggestions? Source: over 4 years ago
