Hey, I'm Danilo, founder of TurboSQL, and Iโ€™m super excited to launch our first version!

If you've ever felt frustrated with sluggish, clunky SQL clients โ€” you're not alone. As a developer, I was tired of the lag, the mouse-heavy workflows, and the general feeling of fighting with my tools instead of working with them.

That's why I built TurboSQL โ€” a blazing-fast, keyboard-first SQL desktop app, designed to get out of your way and keep you in flow.

โšก๏ธ Lightning Fast No more waiting around โ€” queries run with near-zero delay.

โŒจ๏ธ Keyboard-First Design Every action is shortcut-ready, so you stay in your zone without reaching for the mouse.

๐Ÿง  AI Powered Generate and explain queries from plain English, and enjoy schema-aware autocompletion that's actually helpful.

๐Ÿ”’ Local-First & Secure No sneaky data collection. Your data stays yours โ€” always.

TurboSQL is built on Tauri for native performance and supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB out of the box. It's currently available for Mac, with other platforms coming soon!

TurboSQL's answer

Anyone that uses databases on a daily or weekly basis, and want to have a good user experience with them.

What's the story behind your product?

TurboSQL's answer

I always used other desktop tools to connect to my DBs and run queries. However, most of those felt like they were built decades ago and have a TON of room for improvement UX-wise. Also they had no AI features in them. So most of the times, after a slow experience getting in, I would copy my query, paste on ChatGPT and ask for changes. So I decided to make all of this better.

Tauri for the desktop app, Next.js for the landing page/dashboard, Clerk for auth and Polar for payments.

Mix of beautiful UI, excellent user experience, really fast performance and super powerful AI features.
