  • Any tips on finding good places to camp... In Europe?
This. The "nature" spots marked with a tree are sometimes nice to camp if you are in quiet areas. I also find the app Trekarta very useful because you can find shelter, drinking water fountains, and picnic areas markes on the map. It works offline, you just have download the maps first. I found it to be very precise and I have discovered many small trails, water points, and interesting places thanks to it. Source: almost 4 years ago
