Tradoshi is an AI-powered trading journal built around what most tools ignore: the trader's psychology.

It syncs automatically with 2,024 MetaTrader brokers, plus 98 more reachable through their own API (cTrader, TradeLocker, Interactive Brokers, NinjaTrader, IG and crypto exchanges). It computes your real risk and R-multiple from your stops, and turns your trades into clear statistics (expectancy, profit factor, drawdown).

What makes it different:

Oshi Score rates your discipline across six axes and flags destructive patterns like over-risk and revenge trading.

A voice check-in before each session records how you feel in one sentence. Tradoshi holds it against the session that follows and links your emotional state to your P&L, to prove in numbers which states cost you money.

Built for prop-firm and retail traders, with multi-account and prop-firm rule tracking.

Pricing: a permanent free plan, with no card and no time limit, that includes one broker account syncing automatically, unlimited statement import, manual entry, the full journal, dashboard, statistics, 500+ report views and the discipline score. Paid plans from 19.99 USD a month add Oshi, the AI coach, and more connected broker accounts.

JournalX is a trading journal for active, self-directed traders who want a real feedback loop on their performance. Log, plan, and analyze every trade in one workspace, then use your own data to work out what is working in your strategy and what is not.

Most journals are a record of what already happened. JournalX starts one step earlier. You write the plan before you take the trade (setup, entry, stop, target, size), take the trade, and the journal reconciles the plan against the execution. Over a few hundred trades, that gap between what you planned and what you did becomes the most useful data you have, and almost nothing else measures it.

Your strategy lives in the product as Gameplans: reusable entry and risk rules you define once, attach to trades, and review for adherence. Pair that with a filter builder that stacks conditions (setup, session, symbol, tag, win or loss) and you can answer a specific question instead of staring at one blended P&L number. An AI assistant works over your own trade history, so you can ask why a month went badly and get an answer grounded in your trades rather than a generic tip.

Trades arrive by broker auto-sync, CSV import with column mapping, or manual entry. Stocks, options, futures, forex, and crypto are all supported, with multi-account and multi-currency tracking.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Tradoshi and JournalX.

What's the story behind your product?

Tradoshi's answer

Tradoshi comes from a trader who was ruined by his own emotions, not by a bad strategy. Revenge trading after a loss, oversizing out of greed, breaking his own rules under pressure: he blew up his account from the inside, the way most traders do. Rebuilding it, he realized that what saved him wasn't a new indicator but discipline, strict risk rules and honest daily routines he forced himself to follow. Tradoshi turns those exact tools and routines into software: a SaaS that measures your discipline, checks your emotional state before each session, and helps you become and stay profitable by protecting you from yourself. It exists so other traders don't have to learn this lesson the hard way.

JournalX's answer:

JournalX started from a problem most traders recognise. You keep a spreadsheet, it grows to forty columns, and at some point you quietly stop updating it. Even when you do keep it current, it tells you what your P&L was without telling you why.

The existing journals solved half of that. They import trades and produce charts. But they still only look backward, at decisions already made and no longer changeable. The idea behind JournalX was that the interesting data is the difference between the trade you planned and the trade you actually took. Capture the plan first and the journal can show you where discipline broke down, not just where money was lost.

So the product was built around that loop: plan, execute, reconcile, review. Everything else, the analytics, the Gameplans, the notes, the AI assistant, the broker sync, exists to make that loop fast enough to run every single day.

What makes your product unique?

Tradoshi's answer

Most trading journals stop at your P&L. Tradoshi goes to the real reason traders lose: their own behavior. It scores your discipline across six axes (the Oshi Score), runs a voice emotional check-in before each session to flag the days you shouldn't trade, and links your emotional state directly to your results, so you see in numbers which mindsets cost you money. It's a journal that coaches your psychology, not just your statistics.

JournalX's answer:

Most trading journals are a record of what already happened. JournalX starts one step earlier.

You write the plan before you take the trade: setup, entry, stop, target, position size. Then you take the trade, and the journal reconciles the plan against what you actually did. Over a few hundred trades, that gap between the trade you planned and the trade you took is usually where the real problem lives, and almost no other journal measures it.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Tradoshi's answer

Because it fixes what other journals ignore. Classic journals give you great statistics; Tradoshi gives you the statistics plus a six-axis discipline score, a voice emotional check-in, prop-firm rule tracking, live-session guardrails with real-time alerts, backtesting, trade replay and free mentoring, all in one place. It connects automatically to 2,000+ MT4/MT5 brokers (plus cTrader, DXtrade, TradeLocker, NinjaTrader and IBKR), and its AI coach tells you exactly what to correct. Built for the trader who already knows the numbers aren't the whole problem.

JournalX's answer:

Three reasons.

Pre-trade planning. TradeZella, TraderSync, Tradervue, and Edgewonk are all capable at post-trade analysis. None of them ask you to commit to a plan before entry and then score you against it. That is the habit that actually changes behaviour, and it is what JournalX is built around.

Speed and interface. A journal only works if you use it every day. JournalX is fast, navigable from the keyboard through a command palette, and designed so a daily review takes minutes rather than becoming the chore you skip.

Price and coverage. Starter is $24/mo, or $19/mo billed annually. Pro is $49/mo, or $29/mo billed annually. Stocks, options, futures, forex, and crypto are supported at every tier, with broker auto-sync, CSV import, and manual entry, and there is a 7-day free trial.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Tradoshi's answer

Active retail and prop-firm / funded traders who take it seriously: forex, indices, crypto and CFD traders on MT4/MT5, IBKR or cTrader, who struggle less with strategy than with discipline, risk and emotional control. Also trading educators and mentors who want to follow their students' real performance and behavior.

JournalX's answer:

Active, self-directed retail traders who treat trading as a craft and want a real feedback loop on their performance. That spans day and swing traders, and futures, options, forex, and crypto traders across global markets.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Tradoshi's answer

Tradoshi is a web application (with native iOS and Android planned) that connects in real time to broker platforms (MetaTrader 4/5, Interactive Brokers, cTrader). Its analysis and coaching layer is powered by large language models, and the voice emotional check-in uses voice-emotion AI. Backtesting and trade replay run on institutional-grade tick data.
