Second Computer

Overall verdict

  • I don't have verified, up-to-date information about TradeLens (tradelensapp.com), so I can't confirm whether it's good or reliable. I'd recommend independently verifying its legitimacy, reviews, and track record before using it, especially since 'TradeLens' is also the name of a now-discontinued IBM/Maersk blockchain shipping platform, which could cause confusion with this domain.

Why this product is good

  • No verified independent reviews or reliable data available on tradelensapp.com specifically
  • Risk of confusion with the unrelated, now-defunct IBM/Maersk TradeLens shipping platform
  • Unable to confirm company legitimacy, security practices, or regulatory compliance without direct research
  • Claims about performance or features cannot be substantiated without first-hand verified sources

Recommended for

  • Users willing to conduct their own due diligence, such as checking domain registration history, company registration, and user reviews on trusted platforms
  • Those who cross-check with financial regulators or consumer protection agencies before trading or investing through the platform
  • Not recommended for immediate use without independent verification of trustworthiness and legitimacy

Overall verdict

  • Second Computer appears to be a niche or specialized computing service/product, but limited public information makes a comprehensive evaluation difficult. Prospective users should conduct thorough research, check recent reviews, and test any free trial before committing.

Why this product is good

  • May offer a unique approach to computing needs not found in mainstream products
  • Could provide specialized features for specific technical use cases
  • Potentially useful for users seeking alternatives to conventional computer setups

Recommended for

  • Users seeking niche or alternative computing solutions
  • Tech-savvy individuals willing to explore lesser-known platforms
  • Those who need a secondary or backup computing system for specific tasks

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing TradeLens and Second Computer.

What makes your product unique?

TradeLens's answer

TradeLens is the only trading journal that scores your discipline in real time. While other journals let you log trades and look at P&L charts, TradeLens computes a 0-100 Discipline Score across 5 weighted dimensions (consistency, loss control, session edge, frequency, strategy adherence) and flags toxic patterns like revenge trading and overtrading the moment they happen. It pairs the journal with an AI coach (Edge) that explains in plain language what's killing your account and what specific rule to set next — turning passive logging into active behavioral correction.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

TradeLens's answer

Most trading journals (TraderVue, Edgewonk, TradesViz) are static spreadsheets with charts on top — they show you what happened but never tell you why your account is bleeding. TradeLens is built around an AI coach that detects emotional and behavioral biases automatically: revenge trading, position-size drift after losses, session breaks, and strategy abandonment. You don't have to spot patterns yourself. Add prop firm rule compliance for FTMO/Apex/The5ers, MT4/MT5 auto-sync, and a free tier with no credit card, and TradeLens becomes the cheapest, fastest path from blown account to disciplined trader.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

TradeLens's answer

TradeLens is built for two main audiences:

  1. Prop firm challengers — traders going through FTMO, Apex, The5ers, MyForexFunds, and similar evaluation programs. They need to prove discipline under strict drawdown rules, and TradeLens flags rule violations in real time.

  2. Serious retail traders — day traders and swing traders (forex, futures, indices, crypto) who have blown one or more accounts and want to fix the behavioral patterns that caused it before scaling up again.

Secondary audience: trading coaches and educators who use TradeLens to track their students' progress objectively.

What's the story behind your product?

TradeLens's answer

I built TradeLens after blowing 3 prop firm challenges in a row — same setup each time: emotional revenge trading 8 minutes after a loss. No journal could detect it because they all just track P&L. I needed something that scored my discipline, not just my returns. Existing tools assumed traders were rational; reality is the opposite. So I built a journal that treats discipline as a measurable, improvable score — and an AI coach that calls you out before the next bad trade. TradeLens is the tool I wish I had when I was still in the cycle of blown accounts.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

TradeLens's answer

  • Next.js 15 (App Router, React Server Components)
  • TypeScript
  • Supabase (Postgres + Auth + RLS for trade-data isolation)
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Recharts (P&L and equity-curve visualizations)
  • Stripe (subscriptions and trial management)
  • OpenAI / Anthropic LLMs (Edge AI coach and bias detection)
  • Vercel (hosting, edge runtime)
  • PostHog (product analytics)

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

TradeLens's answer

TradeLens is currently in early access. Active users include independent retail traders and prop firm challengers (FTMO, Apex, The5ers), but we don't disclose individual customer names for privacy reasons. Customer testimonials and case studies will be published as the user base grows.
