Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing ToolsNow and Utilvance.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Utilvance's answer:

Freelancers and self-employed professionals using the loan and hourly rate calculators Small business owners using the VAT, sales tax, and profit margin calculators Students using the GPA, percentage, and BMI calculators SEO professionals using the SEO Analyzer and Meta Tag Generator Remote workers and productivity-focused individuals using the word counter, work hours, and unit converter tools

What makes your product unique?

Utilvance's answer:

Most free calculator sites are cluttered with ads, popups, and forced sign-ups just to use a simple tool. Utilvance strips all of that away, every one of the 41+ tools runs instantly in the browser with no account needed.

Real SEO built in from day one, not bolted on later, every page has proper schema markup, clean meta tags, and fast load times Paired with an original blog of practical guides on SEO, finance, productivity, and health, not recycled content Built and maintained solo, so it stays lean, fast, and free of the bloat that comes with larger tool platforms

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Utilvance's answer:

Because it respects your time. No sign-up wall, no email capture before you can see a result, no bloated ad experience slowing the page down. You open a tool, get your answer, and leave if you want to. The tools are also backed by genuinely researched blog content, so if a calculator result raises a question, there's usually a detailed article linked right next to it explaining the "why," not just the number.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Utilvance's answer:

Everyday people who need a quick, accurate answer, students calculating GPA or percentages, freelancers and small business owners working out loan payments or profit margins, and anyone checking a health metric like BMI or calorie needs. It's built for people who want the answer now, not a full software suite to learn.

What's the story behind your product?

Utilvance's answer:

Utilvance started as a personal project by a freelance web designer and SEO specialist who wanted a real, live example of both skills working together, not just client work to point to. Instead of another portfolio page, the goal was to build something genuinely useful: free tools people would actually return to, backed by SEO done properly from the first line of code.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Utilvance's answer:

PHP MySQL HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript
