3.The only way I've come across to document the amount of time spent is to use timesheets or time tracking softwares. Some examples of time tracking softwares are Toggl, Hubstaff, and Time Doctor. Every time I get a new API endpoint, I do the same small dance: look at a response, eyeball the shape, write a TypeScript interface, copy-paste it into the codebase.
