    CommitCat is designed to be a lightweight Git client that doesn't consume excessive system resources, making it suitable for developers who prefer a lean, fast tool over feature-heavy alternatives.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Feature Set
    Compared to more established Git clients like GitKraken, Sourcetree, or Fork, CommitCat may lack advanced features such as built-in merge conflict resolution tools, advanced branch visualization, or deep integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Small Community and Ecosystem
    As a lesser-known tool, CommitCat has a smaller user community, which means fewer tutorials, community-driven plugins, and peer support compared to mainstream Git clients.
  • Limited Visibility and Traction
    CommitCat appears to have limited online presence and user reviews, making it difficult for potential users to assess its reliability, maturity, and long-term viability before adopting it.
  • Uncertain Development Activity
    It is unclear how actively CommitCat is being maintained and developed. A tool with infrequent updates may fall behind in compatibility with newer Git features or operating system updates.
  • Lack of Enterprise Features
    CommitCat may not offer enterprise-grade features such as team collaboration tools, access control integrations, or support for large-scale repository management that organizations often require.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing TogetherDays.app and CommitCat.

What makes your product unique?

TogetherDays.app's answer

Together focuses on simplicity, beautiful widgets, and privacy rather than trying to become a full-featured couple social app.

Its core experience is built around three things:

  • seeing how long you've been together;
  • counting down to anniversaries and meaningful milestones;
  • keeping that feeling visible through personalized Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.

Together is also local-first, does not require a Together account, and can privately sync structured relationship data through iCloud while keeping couple photos local on the device.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

TogetherDays.app's answer

Together is designed for couples who want a beautiful relationship counter without the complexity of a couple super-app.

Instead of adding chat, games, social feeds, quizzes, or relationship-management tools, Together focuses on the essentials: days together, anniversaries, milestones, widgets, personalization, and privacy.

It is a good fit for people who want something simple enough to enjoy every day, especially through customizable Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

TogetherDays.app's answer

Together is primarily for couples using iPhone or iPad who want a simple and beautiful way to celebrate their relationship.

Typical users include:

  • new couples;
  • long-term couples;
  • married couples;
  • long-distance couples;
  • people who enjoy tracking anniversaries and meaningful milestones;
  • people who want personalized relationship widgets without maintaining a complicated couple app.

The partner does not need to install the app.

What's the story behind your product?

TogetherDays.app's answer

Together started from a simple product idea: couples do not necessarily need another complicated relationship-management app.

There are already many apps with chat, games, journals, shared calendars, and other couple features. Together takes the opposite approach.

The goal is to create a simple, polished relationship counter that helps couples see how far they've come, look forward to what's next, and keep their relationship visible through beautiful widgets.

The product is built around the idea that every day together counts.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

TogetherDays.app's answer

Together is built natively for Apple platforms using:

  • SwiftUI for the app interface;
  • SwiftData for local-first persistence;
  • CloudKit for private iCloud synchronization of structured relationship data;
  • WidgetKit for Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets;
  • App Intents for widget configuration;
  • App Groups for sharing widget snapshots and local assets between the app and widgets;
  • UserNotifications for local anniversary and milestone reminders.

The app currently targets iOS 17+.
