As the other person said the TKTS booth in times square is good too. But they don't often sell tickets to the most popular shows, just ones that are struggling a bit to fill their theater.     Go to todaytix.com or download the todaytix app, they tend to have the best deals on theater tickets. As others have said, Lion King isn't settling. I'd say Lion King and Hadestown are probably the two best plays currently running, and if you're with kids then Lion King is definitely the way to go.
