SleepUtility is a simple, science-backed tool that helps you time your sleep perfectly. No complicated setup, no wearables required - just practical sleep cycle calculations that actually work.
We all sleep in cycles of about 90 minutes. Each cycle takes you through different stages of sleep, from light to deep and back again. Waking up during deep sleep is what makes you feel groggy and disoriented.
SleepUtility does the math for you: - Input when you want to wake up โ we'll tell you the best times to go to sleep - Input when you're going to bed โ we'll suggest the optimal times to set your alarm
By timing your wake-up to match the end of a sleep cycle, you'll feel refreshed instead of dragging yourself out of bed.

Technically everyone, as we all need to sleep! But we're especially helpful for people who drag themselves out of bed feeling meh every morning. If you've ever hit snooze over and over, or wondered why 8 hours of sleep sometimes leaves you feeling worse than 5, SleepUtility was made for you.

It started with me waking up feeling tired even after getting plenty of sleep. After digging into why, I discovered it was probably because my alarm was waking me up out of deep sleep. So I built myself a little command-line tool to calculate better sleep times. It worked so well for me that I turned it into a proper website so anyone could use it, even on their phones while they're setting up for bed.
