Unlike Final Draft or Celtx which focus only on the screenplay, The Film Machine covers the full journey: idea development, dramaturgy, characters, logline, synopsis, treatment, screenplay, director's statement, breakdown, shot list and production plan. And unlike ChatGPT or Gemini, it guides you — it asks the right questions in the right order instead of leaving you with a blank chat window.

What's the story behind your product?

The Film Machine's answer

Built by Elliot Huescar, a filmmaker and cinema educator with 15 years of experience. He developed the tool after noticing that his students and peers had ideas but couldn't move them forward — not for lack of talent, but lack of time. His own short film Astéria was developed entirely with the tool and went on to receive over 30 international selections.
