   Has almost everything I need

   I've started using this as my main IDE for new projects when I'm trying things out. If it keeps getting better at the rate it has been, it'll be even better than coding locally.

   👍 Pros:    Easy to get started and operate|Fast|Supports common extensions|Works with most npm packages

   👎 Cons:    Still not as good as local development|Can be hard to debug|Build times can be slower than local

• What do you use to create characters?

  The Character Creator has a license wherein if you use it for non-commercial products (ie - a free game) you can do whatever more or less, and if you are using them for a commercial product a license to do so starts at $5. There's more details about it on their Patreon, which I haven't read, so double-check it for any gotchas I may have missed. Source: about 5 years ago
