The 1% is a self improvement app designed to help people improve their lives through consistent daily progress. It is built around the idea that improving just one percent each day can lead to meaningful long term change.

That idea is turned into a practical system by giving users a single place to track goals, build habits, measure progress, and continuously improve different areas of their life. Instead of relying on multiple disconnected tools, everything is brought together into one structured environment focused on personal growth.

It was created to make the idea of improving one percent every day simple and actually doable. By combining goal tracking, habit building, and progress measurement into one place, it gives people a clear system they can stick to and keep improving with long term.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing The 1% and Waydev.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

The 1%'s answer

You get more, for less. Instead of paying for multiple apps to track workouts, nutrition, habits and productivity, The 1% brings everything together in one place at a fraction of the cost. But the bigger difference is how it is built. This is not a faceless app. It is actively developed with real user feedback, and updates are driven by what people actually want, not what looks good in marketing. You are not just using the app, you are helping shape it. If you want a system that keeps improving, listens to its users, and gives you more value without stacking subscriptions, The 1% is an easy choice.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

The 1%'s answer

The 1% is for anyone who wants to start improving their life, whether they are just getting into it or already taking it seriously. If you are a beginner, it gives you a simple place to start and some structure to actually stay consistent. If you are more advanced, it gives you the detail and control to really dial things in. It is built to grow with you. You do not outgrow it as you get better, it just becomes more useful.

What's the story behind your product?

The 1%'s answer

The 1% started because I was trying to improve different areas of my life and everything was split across loads of apps. One for workouts, one for calories, one for habits, and none of them really worked together. It got frustrating pretty quickly, so I started building something for myself that just put everything in one place and actually made sense to use day to day. That slowly turned into The 1% idea. Just focusing on getting a little better each day and having something that helps you stay consistent with it. Since then it has grown through people using it, giving feedback, and helping shape it into something that is genuinely useful, not just another app.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

The 1%'s answer

The 1% is built natively for iOS using Swift and SwiftUI, which allows it to stay fast, smooth, and responsive. A lot of the focus has gone into performance and keeping everything running efficiently, especially when handling long-term data and analytics. It is actively developed and improved over time, with new features and optimisations added based on real user feedback.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

The 1%'s answer

  • Individuals focused on self-improvement and building better daily habits
  • Gym-goers tracking workouts and progressing consistently
  • Athletes looking to structure and refine their training and routines
  • People working on improving their nutrition, focus, and overall lifestyle

What makes your product unique?

The 1%'s answer

Most apps help you improve one part of your life - your workouts, your diet, your habits. The 1% is built around the idea that all of these things are connected. Instead of jumping between 4-5 different apps, everything lives in one place and actually works together. Your workouts, nutrition, habits, sleep, and focus arenโ€™t tracked in isolation, they are all feed into a bigger picture so you can see in a single place whatโ€™s actually driving your progress and share what you want with your friends. Itโ€™s designed for people who take improvement seriously. Not just logging data, but understanding it, refining it, and getting better every day, even if itโ€™s just by 1%.
