What makes your product unique?

Termique.app's answer

Termique is built with Tauri instead of Electron, making it significantly lighter and faster than most SSH managers on the market. The installer is only 12MB on Windows compared to 100MB+ for Electron-based alternatives. Credentials are encrypted on-device with AES-GCM and the server never sees plaintext passwords or private keys. Cross-device sync is included in the free plan, something most competitors lock behind a paid subscription.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Termique.app's answer

Termique offers the same core features as tools like Termius at half the price, with better performance and stronger privacy guarantees. There are no paywalls for basic sync functionality. The app feels native on every platform because it is built with native webview technology, not a browser wrapper. For developers who manage multiple servers across multiple machines, Termique removes the friction of constant re-setup.

What's the story behind your product?

Termique.app's answer

Termique started out of personal frustration. After switching devices and losing all SSH hosts because sync was locked behind a paywall on an existing tool, the decision was made to just build a better one. What started as a personal project became a fully cross-platform SSH manager built in one month by a solo developer.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Termique.app's answer

Solo developers, freelancers, and DevOps engineers who manage multiple servers across multiple devices daily. Developers who are frustrated with expensive SSH manager subscriptions and want something lightweight, fast, and privacy-focused without sacrificing features.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Termique.app's answer

Termique is built with Tauri for the desktop app, React for the frontend, Hono for the backend API, PostgreSQL for the database, Firebase for authentication, and Cloudflare Workers for edge deployment. The AI assistant is powered by Cloudflare Workers AI. Credentials are encrypted using AES-GCM.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Termique.app's answer

Termique is currently in early stage with a growing base of individual developers and freelancers using it for daily server management. The product is focused on serving solo developers and small teams who need a reliable, affordable SSH manager across all their devices.
