TelegramVery secure, straightforward, and i must say, more relevant nowadays, at least in my opinion.

Anyway, copying and reproducing is a great way to learn. It also train the mind to decompose every applications in small pieces. The same could have been done for Briar, SimpleX or Telegram applications, all of them are open-source and available on Github, Gitlab or somewhere else. Some of them are supporting mobile, desktop and web platform, in short, they are great targets. To summarize, if you want to learn how... - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
In fact, as of today, Anthropic officially shipped this as Claude Code Channels — a plugin-based feature that lets you push messages from Telegram or Discord into a running Claude Code session on your machine. Your session processes the request with full filesystem, MCP, and git access, then replies through the same chat. It's built on MCP, which means it slots into the existing plugin ecosystem cleanly. I ran my... - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
Nowadays, messaging apps are ubiquitous. It’s quite possible that at least one message from such a service just buzzed in your pocket a moment ago. If you have root, it is fairly trivial to run full-on arm64 Linux distro in chroot. That should fix most problems with linux software in termux. There is also Linux Deploy[1] that automates the process of setting up chroot, ssh and even gui desktop (through framebuffer). Your question is invalid (and my point proven, sadly) unless you know how to run Linux Deploy on a Chromecast. You were too busy trying to be the smartest guy in the room before thinking to ask what I was actually doing with this thing in the first place. Source: over 3 years ago
Yes; I use Linux Deploy on most of my rooted Android devices to set up a chroot environment easily (it's kinda old though, so there may be much better alternatives). I used my old Amazon Fire as a Pi-hole that way. Source: almost 4 years ago
I published a fork of Linux Deploy that automatically installs Pi-hole and Unbound, configures SSH/RDP access, and optionally installs Raspbian PIXEL Desktop to any rooted Android 5.0+ device. Source: almost 4 years ago
I use LinuxDeploy to stage my chroots, simple and easy (also available on Play and F-Droid) on rooted. I even have a mobile/handheld software defined radio (or as I like to refer to it as, a 1st gen, poor persons TriCorder). Can't do this in Termux or a proot, but in a chroot and easy as eating cake.
