  • Free access via Substack
Being hosted on Substack, the newsletter is easily accessible and typically offers free content delivered directly to subscribers' inboxes, lowering the barrier to entry for readers.
  • Convenient newsletter format
The Substack newsletter format allows readers to receive curated content on a regular basis without having to actively seek out articles, saving time for busy professionals.
  • Community engagement
Substack's platform allows for comments and discussions, enabling readers to engage with the author and other subscribers, fostering a sense of community around shared interests.
  • Curated insights
The publication provides curated insights and perspectives on technology and testing topics, helping readers stay up to date with trends and best practices without sifting through multiple sources.

Possible disadvantages

  • Niche audience
The content is targeted at a relatively niche audience interested in software testing and related tech topics, which may limit its appeal to a broader readership.
  • Limited content archive
As a Substack publication, the volume and depth of available content may be limited compared to larger, more established tech publications or blogs with years of archived material.
  • Inconsistent publishing schedule
Smaller Substack newsletters can sometimes have irregular publishing schedules, which may make it difficult for readers to rely on consistent content delivery.
  • Single-author perspective
The publication likely reflects the views and expertise of a single author or small team, which may result in a narrower range of perspectives compared to multi-contributor publications.
  • Limited discoverability
Being on Substack means the content may not be as easily discoverable through search engines or social media compared to content hosted on well-established tech media platforms with strong SEO.
  • Automated Email Warmup
Mailwarm automatically warms up inboxes, domains, and SMTP servers by generating natural interactions between real email accounts to build and protect sender reputation.

Supports warmup across Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Yahoo, and other providers to create realistic engagement signals and improve overall inbox placement.

  • Bounce Prevention & Verification
Built-in verification systems detect and deactivate invalid inboxes automatically to prevent bounces, one of the most harmful signals for email deliverability.
  • One-Click Outlook & Office365 Setup
Connect Microsoft 365 and Outlook accounts instantly through the official Microsoft sign-in process without complex SMTP configuration.
  • Simplified SMTP Configuration
Pre-configured SMTP settings for major providers with step-by-step guidance make it easy to connect and start warming up in minutes.
  • Deliverability Analytics
Detailed reports help users monitor warmup progress, engagement trends, and overall email performance to understand and improve sender reputation.
  • Engagement Simulation
Mailwarm engages with emails by marking them as important, replying, and removing them from spam, mimicking the actions of a real recipient and thereby boosting sender reputation.

Possible disadvantages

  • Cost
Mailwarm is a premium service, which may be expensive for small businesses or individual users with limited budgets.
  • Dependency on Third-Party Tool
Relying on an external service like Mailwarm means users don't have full control over the warming process, and there might be risks related to data privacy and service reliability.
  • Learning Curve
Although the platform is designed to be user-friendly, new users might still face a learning curve in understanding and fully utilizing all features and analytics provided.
  • Limited Customization
Some users may find that Mailwarm’s automation features lack the level of customization required for highly specific or complex email strategies.
  • No Instant Results
The warming process is gradual and can take several weeks to show significant improvements in deliverability, which might not meet the needs of users looking for immediate results.

What's the story behind your product?

Mailwarm's answer:

Mailwarm started as a real problem we faced ourselves.

We were two founders working at Station F in Paris, the largest startup incubator in Europe, trying to sell our own products. Every time we launched outreach campaigns, our emails kept landing in spam.

To solve this, we built an internal email warmup system for our personal use. After deep research into email deliverability, we created a stronger, more reliable solution.

Other startups in the incubator quickly asked to use it too; so we turned it into a real product.

After launching publicly, Mailwarm became #1 Product of the Day on ProductHunt and was accepted into Y Combinator, the world’s most prestigious startup accelerator.

Since then, Mailwarm has grown into a trusted platform used by thousands of companies to improve inbox placement and email deliverability.
