Using this specifically for school. It has all the features of microsoft to-do and google tasks. After using Notion, I became accustomed to viewing tasks in a certain date range and being able to tag assignments, which neither of the aforementioned apps could do the same way. This keeps track of all tasks, their due date, type tags, and folders separated by class. Simple and fast windows app, android app, and android widgets.
Tasks.org might be a bit more popular than TickTick. We know about 75 links to it since March 2021 and only 51 links to TickTick. Edit: and neither do some other features such as 'Filters'. I was aware that some of the features would not sync since that was mentioned in the tasks.org website. I've been trying out a TON of GTD-related apps over the years and recently settled on tasks.org to complement Google Tasks. Honestly, this is an amazing app, but it lacks features that I really want: A Web interface and integration with other applications. First, go to the list on the ticktick.com website. That'll give you a url like this: "https://ticktick.com/webapp/#p/123456789123456789/tasks. (The string of numbers will change depending on the particular list). The URL to jump to this list in the TickTick app is then "ticktick:///webapp/#p/123456789123456789/tasks".
