   Powerful Data Visualization Tool with a Steep Learning Curve

   I’ve used Tableau to analyze and present data for business reporting, and its strength is clearly in visualization. Turning raw data into interactive dashboards is fast once you understand how the tool works, and the end results look polished and professional.

   However, getting to that point isn’t instant. New users may struggle with calculations, data modeling, and performance tuning. Licensing costs are also high, which can be difficult to justify for smaller teams or individual users.

   Tableau works best for organizations that rely heavily on data-driven decisions and can invest time and budget into analytics. It’s not the easiest or cheapest option, but the output quality makes it worthwhile

• Where to publish knowledge sharing on Tableau reverse engineering and data dictionary generation?

  Could anyone recommend what media I should approach to publish my work (internet or print). I could try the Tableau forum in tableau.com but it's not very active + Tableau may be unappreciative as my work overlaps with their (pricey) data management solution. • What tips do you have on evaluating various BI tools for business needs? What are the essential criteria's you would include when evaluating different tools? The goal is to have an unbiased, objective approach.

  For example, we have a project to compare Tableau, Power BI, and InetSoft. The need for strong pagination-based email delivery eliminated Tableau. AWS's Linux instance is the targeted platform which makes Power BI less than ideal. Source: over 4 years ago

• Anyone go into Data Analytics after this program?

  I just started learning Tableau because our dept is transitioning into Tableau from Power BI. Since I already have years of experience with Power BI I just went over their tutorials from tableau.com and got onboarded pretty quick. I'm still learning it but I'm at least able to build out reports and get things done. Its not too difficult to pickup one BI tool when you have experience with another. Source: over 4 years ago

• I’m getting HF burn out again!

  You don't have to use a VPN; you can go to hellofresh.co.uk, hellofresh.ca, hellofresh.ie hellofresh.com.au, or hellofresh.co.nz from the US (and I would presume most places) for recipes from English speaking countries, or if you can read/work out other languages or are ok with using machine translation, various European countries including hellofresh.es (Spain) hellofresh.de (Germany), hellofresh.nl...   Also hellofresh.ca, hellofresh.co.uk, and hellofresh.com.au, offer different recipes than the US HF. (hellofresh.de also exists if you are willing to deal with the recipes being in German). Source: over 4 years ago

• What do you do when you get burnt out?

  You can in fact browse and search the recipes page on hellofresh.ca, hellofresh.com.au, hellofresh.co.uk, and (if you speak German or are willing to deal with recipe translation) hellofresh.de from within the US, and I don't see why they would be otherwise inaccessible. • Red Lentil and Sweet Potato Curry. Probably my favorite of the 3 meals from our last box.

  However, I will say that searching red lentils on the hellofresh.ca recipes turns up 32 results compared with 12 for lentils on hellofresh.com . Source: over 4 years ago
