I would use syncthing, which is open source at https://syncthing.net/. After minimal setup, it just works(tm). You have a normal directory in your filesystem, that is synced to the other peers (which you set up in the "minimal setup"). I have been using it for years, and it works well. I don't think you need to be a holder of both. I put my mom on my Wells Fargo account and she sent to my account. There is also https://wise.com/us/ . This one I have used to send to someones account in Vietnam. It does have slightly higher fee. But it goes straight into their account.
