SwiftReporter helps home inspectors capture findings, write clear narratives, and deliver polished reports while the details are still fresh. It is built for inspectors who would rather finish in the driveway than spend another evening turning field notes into client-ready reports.

Work from iOS, Android, or the web and keep everything synced across devices. Add photos, videos, voice notes, and observations as you inspect. SwiftReporterโ€™s AI can turn spoken notes into professional narratives, summarize findings, suggest stronger wording, build reusable templates from your existing work, and flag potential defects in photos for your review.

Flexible templates support residential home inspections, TREC reports, marine surveys, and other specialty workflows. Comment libraries make proven language easy to reuse, while AI-powered search helps you find the right comment without remembering its exact wording. Solo inspectors can keep their process simple, and growing companies can use Teams Mode to standardize reporting and collaborate across inspectors.

SwiftReporter can also run the business around the inspection. The All-in-One plan includes unlimited reports, appointment scheduling, invoices, online payments through your own Stripe account, contracts, automated notifications, and a secure customer portal where clients can review appointments, sign documents, pay invoices, and download completed reports.

Choose the setup that fits your workload. All-in-One costs $99 per month, or $89 per month when billed annually, and includes unlimited reports and business tools. Inspectors with occasional jobs can pay $20 per report instead. Every new account starts with a 30-day full-access trial, and no credit card is required.

SwiftReporter brings field capture, AI-assisted writing, report delivery, and day-to-day business tools into one focused platform. The result is less admin, more consistent reports, and a faster path from the first photo to the clientโ€™s inbox.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing SwiftReporter and CodeClimate.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SwiftReporter's answer

Choose SwiftReporter if reporting speed, flexible pricing, and working across devices are priorities.

The platform is designed around the inspection itself. Capture findings as you work, use voice and media to reduce manual entry, and let AI prepare narratives for your review. Reports, templates, comments, photos, and inspection data stay synchronized across iOS, Android, and the web.

SwiftReporter can remain a focused reporting tool through the $20 pay-per-report option, or become a complete business platform with unlimited reports, scheduling, contracts, invoicing, notifications, and a customer portal.

It is particularly well suited to inspectors who want to spend less time formatting reports, avoid paying a monthly subscription during slower periods, and add business-management tools without changing platforms later.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SwiftReporter's answer

SwiftReporter uses modern cross-platform and cloud technologies:

  • React Native and Expo for the iOS and Android applications
  • Next.js and React for the web application
  • Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, data storage, file storage, synchronization, and backend services
  • OpenAI and Gemini AI services for narrative drafting, template generation, media analysis, and other AI-assisted workflows
  • Stripe for invoicing and online payments
  • Local device storage and synchronization tools to support fieldwork when connectivity is unreliable

This architecture allows SwiftReporter to provide a consistent experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

SwiftReporter's answer

SwiftReporter does not publicly disclose customer names without their permission. Our customers include: - Independent residential home inspectors - Multi-inspector companies - Commercial property inspectors - Marine and specialist inspection professionals - Property, housing, and facilities teams completing standardized condition assessments

What makes your product unique?

SwiftReporter's answer

SwiftReporter combines fast field reporting, practical AI, and flexible pricing into a single platform built specifically for home inspectors.

Inspectors can capture photos, videos, voice notes, and observations from iOS, Android, or the web. SwiftReporterโ€™s AI turns field notes into professional narratives, summarizes findings, builds templates from existing material, and helps identify potential defects in photos. The goal is simple: reduce typing and help inspectors deliver reports before leaving the job site.

SwiftReporter also gives inspectors a choice in how they work and pay. The All-in-One plan includes unlimited reports, appointments, contacts, contracts, invoicing, notifications, and a customer portal. Lower-volume inspectors can instead pay $20 per report without committing to a monthly subscription.

This combination makes SwiftReporter suitable for new inspectors, established solo operators, and growing inspection teams.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SwiftReporter's answer

SwiftReporter is primarily designed for residential and commercial property inspectors who want to complete professional reports faster.

Its users include: New and part-time inspectors who prefer pay-per-report pricing Independent inspectors who want reporting and business tools in one platform High-volume inspectors who need efficient field capture Multi-inspector companies that need shared templates and consistent reporting Specialists working with TREC, marine, housing, facility, and property-condition workflows

SwiftReporter works across phones, tablets, and computers, making it especially useful for inspectors who capture findings in the field and finish reports across multiple devices.

What's the story behind your product?

SwiftReporter's answer

SwiftReporter began with a conversation between software developer Stephen Sazdanoff-Haynes and his friend Connor, an experienced building inspector.

Connor regularly described the complexity and inefficiency of the inspection software he used. Stephenโ€™s response was straightforward: โ€œI could build something better.โ€ He began developing a reporting tool around the practical needs of inspectors working in the field.

The project became a company after Stephen discussed it with his friend Evan Sutter, a three-time business founder, during a Christmas lunch at the beach. Four long blacks later, Stephen invited Evan to join the business.

SwiftReporter has continued to follow the principle that started it: see a real problem, listen to the people experiencing it, and build a more useful solution. Today, the platform helps inspectors capture findings, prepare reports, and manage their businesses with less repetitive administration.
