SwiftAI Boilerplate
Selfcommit.dev

Overall verdict

  • SwiftAI Boilerplate appears to be a useful starting toolkit for developers who want to launch AI-powered applications quickly without building core infrastructure from scratch, though as with any boilerplate product, its value depends on how well it matches your specific tech stack and project requirements.

Why this product is good

  • Saves development time by providing pre-built AI integration components and architecture
  • Includes common features like authentication, payments, and API integrations that most AI apps need
  • Reduces boilerplate coding so developers can focus on unique product features
  • Likely offers a structured, tested foundation that reduces early-stage bugs
  • May include documentation and support to speed up the learning curve

Recommended for

  • Indie developers and solo founders building AI SaaS products
  • Startups wanting to launch an MVP quickly
  • Developers who prefer not to build authentication, billing, and AI API integrations from scratch
  • Teams testing AI product ideas who need to move fast
  • Non-experts in backend architecture who want a solid starting template

Overall verdict

  • Selfcommit.dev appears to be a niche accountability/goal-tracking tool aimed at helping individuals commit to personal or professional goals, but there is limited widespread public information, reviews, or track record available to fully verify its quality, reliability, or long-term support.

Why this product is good

  • Focuses on personal accountability through structured commitment tracking, which can be motivating for self-improvement
  • Likely has a simple, developer-friendly interface given the '.dev' domain branding
  • May offer a lightweight, distraction-free alternative to bloated habit-tracking apps
  • Could be a good fit for solo builders or indie hackers who prefer minimalist tools

Recommended for

  • Individuals looking for a simple self-accountability or commitment-tracking tool
  • Developers or indie hackers who prefer niche, no-frills apps over mainstream productivity suites
  • Users comfortable trying newer, less established platforms
  • People who want lightweight goal or habit tracking without complex features

It includes built-in AI client architecture, Supabase Auth, safe Edge Functions for OpenRouter calls, RevenueCat subscriptions, onboarding, settings, and a polished design system. What's the story behind your product?

SwiftAI Boilerplate's answer

SwiftAI Boilerplate Pro was born out of the pain of setting up the same infrastructure for every AI-powered app. Auth, payments, networking, AI clients, UI foundations, and environment configs. The boilerplate is the result of refining that system and battle-testing it in real apps like Capishi.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SwiftAI Boilerplate's answer

SwiftUI (modern UI with clean architecture)

Swift Concurrency (async/await)

Modular Swift Packages (Core, AI, Networking, Storage, Payments)

RevenueCat for subscriptions

OpenRouter for LLM integrations via Supabase Edge Functions

SwiftData for local persistence

Apple Sign In and native frameworks
