SeamlessRepeat turns a single motif into a production-ready seamless repeat in seconds.

Upload one image โ€” a tile face, a floral, a wood grain, a marble scan, an abstract decor โ€” and choose your repeat type: straight, half-drop or brick. Each layout is generated for its own offset rather than nudged into place, so the motif reads naturally instead of looking like a copy-pasted grid. Tune spacing to tighten or open up the pattern, and dial creativity down when you want the engine to extend your original artwork rather than reinterpret it.

Design extension re-spaces a tile you already have. Open a gap on the top, left, bottom or right โ€” four controls that move independently โ€” and the AI fills that space in your design's own motif language and colour. A live preview outlines exactly what will be generated before you spend a credit. The tile you get back is larger and looser but still joins edge to edge with no visible seam. It is not a crop or an upscale, and it costs the same single image as a repeat. Reach for it to loosen a print that reads as busy at scale, to change a repeat's scale without resizing and losing detail, or to bring an off-centre motif back to balance.

Output is high-resolution PNG at up to 300 DPI, registration-safe and ready to hand to a press โ€” not a low-res social mockup. And you can verify seamlessness before you pay: the on-site demo pushes any pattern to a 4ร—4 field with seam guides on, so you can go hunting for the join.

Built for surface industries: ceramic and porcelain tiles, wallpaper, laminates and decor paper, flooring, textile all-over print, and gift wrap and packaging.

Also included: a free Repeat Checker (upload any image and see whether it actually tiles), a Print Size Calculator, and a DPI Checker.

Sign up and your first 3 generations are free. Paid plans unlock full print-ready downloads, a commercial licence, and GST invoicing on INR pricing.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Supermemory and SeamlessRepeat.

What makes your product unique?

SeamlessRepeat's answer:

It is built for the press, not for a preview. - Three repeat types generated natively. Straight, half-drop and brick are each generated for their own offset, not produced once and nudged into place. That is why stone, marble and florals read as organic instead of gridded. - Design extension, not outpainting. Open a gap on the top, left, bottom or right โ€” four controls that move independently โ€” and the AI extends your artwork into it in your design's own motif language. The tile comes back larger and looser and still joins edge to edge. Spacing becomes an adjustable design decision instead of something you commit to when you draw. - You can verify it before you pay. Push any pattern to a 4ร—4 field, turn on seam guides, and go hunting for the join. Most generators ask you to trust the thumbnail. - 300 DPI, registration-safe PNG. Sized to the repeat you chose and ready for production, rather than a low-resolution mockup you have to rebuild. - A live preview before a credit is spent. The extension frame outlines exactly what the AI will fill, so nothing is generated until you are happy with it.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SeamlessRepeat's answer:

  • Against Illustrator and Photoshop: building a true half-drop or brick repeat by hand is slow, and every spacing change means rebuilding the tile. Here it is a control you move.
  • Against generic AI image generators: they make a picture. They do not guarantee the edges join, they do not offer half-drop or brick, and they do not export at 300 DPI registration-safe. SeamlessRepeat is a repeat engine, not a prompt box.
  • Against textile CAD suites like NedGraphics or Lectra Kaledo: those are licensed, trained, installed systems priced for a mill. This runs in a browser, starts at $19 a month, and needs no onboarding.
  • You keep your own artwork. Upload one motif you already own and lower creativity to extend it rather than reinterpret it. You are not stuck with whatever the model invents.
  • Design extension is included on every plan and costs the same single image as a repeat. It is not gated behind a higher tier.
  • Priced for India as a home market. INR pricing is GST inclusive and every paid plan comes with a GST invoice.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SeamlessRepeat's answer:

People who put patterns into production.

  • Surface and print designers working freelance or inside a studio, who need repeats to hand to a manufacturer rather than post to a moodboard.
  • Design teams at ceramic tile, wallpaper, laminate and decor-paper makers, where the same motif has to work across a 600ร—600 mm tile face, a 53 cm roll and a 1220ร—2440 mm sheet.
  • Textile print studios and converters producing all-over prints for rotary and digital print at fabric width.
  • Flooring, gift wrap and packaging designers who need a background that tiles across sheets and box nets.
  • Print-on-demand sellers and independent pattern designers generating volume, which is what the Unlimited plan and its resale rights exist for.

The common thread is production intent: someone who cares that the seam actually disappears at 300 DPI, and who is judged on whether the file works at the press.

What's the story behind your product?

SeamlessRepeat's answer:

SeamlessRepeat came out of a simple observation about surface design: the hard part was never drawing the motif, it was making it repeat. A designer would finish a beautiful floral or a marble study and then lose hours in Illustrator building the tile โ€” and lose them again the moment a client asked for the pattern to sit a little looser.

We built SeamlessRepeat at Scientia AI to make that step disappear. One motif in, an endless surface out. We generated each repeat type for its own offset instead of nudging one layout into three, because half-drop is what stops stone and florals from looking gridded. We put seam guides and a 4ร—4 field on the public homepage, because a seamless repeat is a claim you should be able to check before you pay for it. And we shipped design extension so that spacing stays editable after the fact โ€” open a gap and the AI fills it in your design's own language, instead of you redrawing.

The output targets a press, not a thumbnail: 300 DPI, registration-safe, ready for ceramic tile, wallpaper, laminate, flooring, textile print and packaging. India is our home market, so prices are quoted GST inclusive with a proper invoice.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SeamlessRepeat's answer:

  • Frontend: Next.js 14 (App Router), React 18, Tailwind CSS 3
  • Backend: AWS

  • AI Agentic Memory for beginners.
This is usually a challenge that any developer has to take care of when building an AI agent. In fact, managing the context is one of the hardest problems when working with AI agents and there are many companies like SuperMemory, Mem0 which have invested both resources and time to solve this problem. - Source: dev.to / 25 days ago
  • Building an autonomous Slack agent with OpenCode
Memory. I use Supermemory for this. Before, Pipa loaded context files and knew to update them. A memory tool adds teammate-like recall: goals, preferences, latest business state, and small details that should carry across runs. Good memory tools also know how to supersede and delete memories, which matters once the agent has more autonomy. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
  • Build a Real-Time Voice RAG Agent for Your Documentation
We wire everything up with Vision Agents as the voice agent framework, Stream for WebRTC audio and video, OpenAI Realtime for speech in and speech out, Anam so the agent shows up as a face on the video, and Supermemory so answers come from search over your uploaded documents instead of guesswork. The code stays small and most of the behavior lives in one registered function that asks the memory store for relevant... - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
  • Ask HN: What are you working on (August 2024)?
My friends and I are working on https://supermemory.ai, an AI second brain to help you remember content from saved webpages and notes. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
