  Https://subtitlesapp.com/ is defunct with no communication from the creator, but when it worked, it was really easy to use. Source: about 3 years ago

• Any good FREE app to download subtitles on Mac (big sur)?

  I use this one: https://subtitlesapp.com for many years now. Simple, you can drag a whole directory tree into it and it'll process them all without bothering you. Source: over 5 years ago
