Sure there was basically a cartel in social media. You saw coordinated censorship campaigns to ban the former president of the United States for example. But I wouldn't discount the amount of political interference there as well. The last administration admitted to flagging individual posts for the social media companies. As someone who's had visual snow for over 20 years and never linked it with other symptoms that are described in the study, my mind is blown. I've skimmed halfway thru the study and have tears in my eyes reading this, because for years I've not been able to figure out why I've felt so weird...and mostly just try not to think about it (but I'm always worried about it in the back of my mind).
