Most pomodoro timers assume every brain works the same way. Work 25 minutes, break 5, repeat. But if you have ADHD, that rigidity is the problem. You either can't start, or you're deep in hyperfocus and an arbitrary bell pulls you out. And time blindness means a countdown in a background tab might as well not exist.

Pomodoro Timer is a free focus timer designed specifically for ADHD and neurodivergent brains. Flexible intervals you control, not a fixed 25/5 rule. A visual progress ring that fills up in real time so you can actually see time passing. Focus analytics to spot your best patterns. A built-in task list to keep sessions intentional.

No guilt if you end a session early. No streaks to protect. No account required to start.

It's a PWA that works offline. Built with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No frameworks, no dependencies, no bloat.

Free to use. Premium unlocks advanced analytics, Todoist integration, and a yearly focus report for $2/month or $15/year.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing studytimer.net and pomodorotimer.vip.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

pomodorotimer.vip's answer:

Adults with ADHD and neurodivergent brains who struggle with focus, time blindness, and traditional productivity tools. Students, remote workers, and creatives who need a timer that adapts to how their brain actually works rather than punishing them for not fitting a rigid system.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

pomodorotimer.vip's answer:

HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. No frameworks, no build tools, no dependencies. It's a Progressive Web App (PWA) with a service worker for offline support. Hosted on GitHub Pages. Stripe for payments. Firebase for optional cloud sync and analytics.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

pomodorotimer.vip's answer:

  • Individual users with ADHD across 30+ countries
  • Remote workers and freelancers
  • University students

What makes your product unique?

pomodorotimer.vip's answer:

It's the only pomodoro timer built specifically for ADHD and neurodivergent brains. Instead of forcing rigid 25/5 intervals, it lets you set whatever focus and break lengths work for you. The visual progress ring makes time visible in real time, which directly addresses time blindness, one of the most common ADHD challenges. There's no guilt mechanics, no streaks to protect, and no punishment for ending a session early.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

pomodorotimer.vip's answer:

Most pomodoro timers like Pomofocus, Forest, and Focus Keeper are built for neurotypical brains. They assume you can just "set a timer and focus." If you have ADHD, that doesn't work. Pomodoro Timer gives you flexible intervals, a visual progress ring so you can actually feel time passing, and focus analytics to understand your patterns. It's free, works offline, needs no account, and runs instantly in your browser. No app store download, no signup wall.

What's the story behind your product?

pomodorotimer.vip's answer:

It started out of personal frustration. Every pomodoro timer out there assumed my brain worked in neat 25-minute blocks. It doesn't. I have ADHD, and the rigid countdown-in-a-background-tab approach never worked for me. I'd either forget the timer existed or get pulled out of a rare hyperfocus session because some arbitrary bell went off. So I built the timer I actually needed. Flexible, visual, and zero guilt. It's a solo project built with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript because I wanted it fast, simple, and dependency-free.
