Scriptivox is an AI transcription platform that converts audio and video recordings into accurate, searchable text. It handles over 100 languages and dialects across more than 20 file formats, including MP3, WAV, FLAC, MP4, MOV and MKV, and returns transcripts with automatic speaker separation and word-level timestamps.

Alongside plain transcripts it generates SRT and VTT subtitle files that drop straight into video editors and players, with no separate export step or add-on charge. A meeting notetaker can join scheduled Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls to record and transcribe them automatically, then produce an AI summary. Transcripts can also be queried conversationally, which makes finding a specific passage in a long recording far quicker than scrubbing audio.

A REST API is available for developers who need transcription inside their own products, billed from the same account as the web app.

Built for podcasters, journalists, researchers, content creators and teams who need professional-grade transcripts without per-minute agency pricing. Free tier available, no credit card required.

Analysis of Scriptivox

Overall verdict

  • Scriptivox appears to be a niche text-to-speech/voiceover style tool, but there is very limited verifiable public information, reviews, or track record available about this specific product, making it hard to confirm its quality or reliability with confidence.

  • Positioned as an affordable or accessible voiceover/TTS solution for content creators
