How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Students with a school email, mainly those in tech, design, and CS who already pay for software and want to know what their student status gets them. It's just as useful for students outside the US who are tired of clicking deals that turn out to be region-locked.

What makes your product unique?

Most student-discount sites are login-gated coupon walls aimed at retail and fashion. Student Offers is open, needs no account, and focuses on what students actually use: software, AI, and developer tools. The real difference is that we go looking for the deals nobody talks about and keep checking they still work, instead of scraping a list once and letting it go stale.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Because the deals here actually work. UNiDAYS and Student Beans make you sign in and mostly show retail discounts; GitHub's pack is useful but it's one fixed list. Student Offers pulls deals from everywhere, including the ones those sites miss, verifies them, and shows which ones work in your country. No signup, nothing tracked, and the list is re-checked so you're not chasing expired offers.

What's the story behind your product?

It started because we kept finding out too late that tools we were already paying for were free for students. The good deals were real but scattered across vendor pages and old Reddit threads, and half were expired or didn't work in our country. Nobody was tracking what still worked, so we started our own list, kept verifying deals as we added them, and put it online once it was big enough to be worth sharing.

Next.js and React with TypeScript on the front end, Supabase (PostgreSQL) for the offer database, Tailwind CSS with shadcn/ui for the interface, hosted on Vercel.
