It's not AI backed, but I've found Streetmix to be very useful for that kind of task. There are options for car, bike, and transit lanes. It only gives you a cross section of the street, so you can't model intersections, but it's a great tool for showing how streets could be rearranged. Source: about 3 years ago

Nice! If you want to figure out actual lane widths/etc, I'd recommend creating some Streetmix cross cuts. It would help give a visualization of the curb to curb space allocation at ground level. Source: over 3 years ago
