Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Stoxes and Basedash.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Stoxes's answer

Stoxes is designed for income-focused investors who prioritize dividends, options income, and strategic reinvestment. This includes:

  • Long-term investors looking to compound and accumulate assets.

  • Traders who sell covered calls & cash-secured puts to generate extra yield.

  • Retirees or near-retirees wanting to maximize steady cash flow.

  • Passive investors who prefer automation over manual stock picking.

What makes your product unique?

Stoxes's answer

Stoxes is built specifically for income-focused investors, not just traders or stock pickers. Unlike traditional platforms that emphasize market trends, technical analysis, or raw option flow data, Stoxes prioritizes prospective income, risk-adjusted automation, and cash flow optimization. Features like the Dividend Map, Covered Call & Cash-Secured Put Planner, and pre-built income strategies make it easy for users to generate and grow their income.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Stoxes's answer

  • Income-first approach – Unlike generic trading tools, Stoxes focuses on cash flow, yield optimization, and reinvestment strategies.

  • Portfolio automation – Users can set risk profiles (Defensive, Balanced, or Aggressive), and Stoxes finds and executes trades accordingly.

  • Advanced dividend insights – The Dividend Map analyzes historical patterns, company health, and upcoming payout likelihoods, helping with cash allocation planning.

  • Seamless broker integration – Securely connects to 25+ brokers, making tracking and execution easier.

  • Pre-built strategies – Investors can apply tested, complex strategies without needing to figure everything out manually.

What's the story behind your product?

Stoxes's answer

I built Stoxes because most investing tools are built for traders, not income-focused investors. Many platforms focus on market timing, option flow, or complicated Greek calculations—but what I needed was something that prioritized cash flow, strategic reinvestment, and optimizing yield. Since nothing existed that combined dividends, options, and portfolio automation in one place, I decided to build it myself.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Stoxes's answer

Since we’re still in the early stages, the platform is focused on individual investors and small investment groups rather than large institutions. Some of our most active users include:

  • Dividend-focused retail investors looking to optimize their reinvestment strategies.

  • Options traders using covered calls & cash-secured puts to generate yield.

  • Financial independence seekers prioritizing passive income over market speculation.

  • Small fund managers automating income-focused portfolios for their clients.
