What's the story behind your product?

Story Architect (STARC)'s answer

In 2013, programmer Dimka Novikov received a proposal to create film shoot planning software, sparking the idea for Kit Scenarist. By 2014, the first version was launched, capable of formatting scripts to international standards. English localizations arrived in 2016, marking the start of Kit Scenarist's global journey. In 2018, attempts to monetize through crowdfunding failed, also revealing architectural limitations.

In 2019, Dimka returned with a plan for a new software, leading to the birth of the Story Architect (or simply STARC). Released in 2021, STARC integrated six years of Kit Scenarist experience with significant technical improvements. By 2023, Kit Scenarist support ceased, and users transitioned to STARC. Today, STARC is a full-fledged program for authors, offering various subscription levels with advanced features.
