Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Stonify and Vim.

What makes your product unique?

Stonify's answer

Stonify is built specifically for stone fabricators and countertop shops, not for generic project management.

It connects the full workflow from quote to install, including quoting, countertop drawings, slab inventory, production scheduling, installation planning, job tracking, reporting, and accounting workflows.

The goal is simple: help fabricators replace spreadsheets, whiteboards, emails, and disconnected tools with one system built around real stone fabrication operations.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Stonify's answer

Built for shops that are tired of disconnected tools.

Stonify connects quoting, drawings, slab inventory, production, installs, job tracking, and reporting in one modern system built for stone fabricators.

Your team moves faster, job details stay organized, and you do not have to manage the shop across spreadsheets, whiteboards, emails, and separate software.

Your feedback helps shape the product. Stonify uses input from real fabricators to build new features, improve workflows, and keep the platform aligned with the way stone shops actually work.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Stonify's answer

Stonify is built for stone fabricators, countertop shops, and surfacing companies that work with materials such as quartz, granite, marble, porcelain, and natural stone.

It is useful for growing local shops as well as larger fabrication teams that need better control over quoting, drawings, slab inventory, production scheduling, installation planning, job tracking, reporting, and accounting workflows.

The main users are owners, sales teams, estimators, office staff, production managers, inventory teams, and installation crews.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Stonify's answer

Stonify is a modern cloud-based software platform designed for web and mobile use.

It gives office and shop teams browser-based access to quoting, drawings, inventory, scheduling, job tracking, reporting, documents, and accounting workflows.

Stonify also includes mobile field access so installation crews and field teams can view job details, schedules, routes, tasks, files, and updates from the field.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Stonify's answer

CGM, Discover Surfaces, Youngstown Granite and Quartz

What's the story behind your product?

Stonify's answer

Stonify started from a real problem inside stone fabrication: shops were running quotes, drawings, inventory, schedules, installs, and job details across too many disconnected tools.

The idea came from people who understood both sides of the problem — stone fabrication operations and software development. With input from fabricators and a team experienced in building business software, Stonify was created to give countertop shops a more connected way to run jobs from quote to install.

Today, customer feedback continues to shape the product. Real fabricators help guide new features and workflow improvements, so Stonify keeps evolving around the way stone shops actually work.
