StayManual.app
DeveloperToolStack

Short-term rental hosts answer the same questions every stay. Where is the Wi-Fi, how do I get in, what time is checkout, where do I park. staymanual ends that. You write one guide per property and print one QR code. The guest scans it and the manual opens on their own phone, in their own...

DeveloperToolStack 5 features
  • One QR code per property
Print it once and stick it up. Update the manual any time; the printed code keeps working. No reprints, ever.
  • 12 languages built in
The manual opens in the guest's own language automatically. Wi-Fi passwords and door codes are protected from translation, so they stay exactly as you typed them.
  • Time-aware Call Host button
Guests tap Call Host and reach whoever is on duty right now: owner, co-host, cleaner or night cover. After-hours questions stop landing on your bedside table.
  • No app, no login for guests
The manual is a normal web page. Guests scan and read. Nothing to download and no account to create.
  • Free for one property
Every feature included on the free plan, no card on file. Paid plans only start when you add a second property.
  • Referral program, recurring earnings
Share your link with other hosts and earn a share of their subscription every month, for as long as they stay subscribed.
  • Print-ready PDF booklet
The whole manual as a clean PDF: cover photo, your logo, every section and photo, page numbers, with the QR on the front page. Leave a printed copy in the property.
  • 30-second how-to videos
Film the washing machine or the heating timer on your phone and drop it in. Guests press play. No translation needed for hands pressing buttons.
  • Live announcement banner
Pin a one-line note to the top of the guide: power cut, plumber on the way, welcome basket waiting. Schedule it to appear and clear itself, in the property's timezone.
  • Digital guest book
Guests tap once to check in on arrival and once on the way out, and can leave you a private note during the stay. Publish the kind ones for the next guest.
  • Private mode
Lock the manual behind a short code when it carries door or alarm codes. Guests enter it once and their phone remembers it for the stay.
  • Guest insights
See which sections guests read and which get a quiet thumbs-down, plus scan counts, top countries and devices. Rewrite what isn't landing.
  • One-tap review requests
Paste your listing link once and guests get a Leave a review button branded to where they booked: Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com or Google.
  • 18 starter sections
Wi-Fi, check-in, house rules, appliances and the rest come pre-built with the right template inside. You fill in blanks instead of staring at a blank page.
  • One-tap copy for codes

  • Bulk QR sheet for portfolios
Every property's QR on one printable page. Cut, tape up, done.
  • Make it feel like your place
Your logo, your brand colour, your cover photo. The guide reads like you wrote it, not like a third-party website.
  • Your words stay yours
Export the whole manual as plain text or PDF any time. No lock-in, from day one.
  • Simple pricing
    Free for 1 property, $15/month for 2 to 5, $39 for 6 to 15, $99 for 16 to 50. No per-property fees, no per-guest fees, no cut of bookings.
  • Unified Toolset
Consolidates multiple developer utilities into a single platform, reducing the need to switch between different tools and websites for common development tasks.
  • Time Efficiency
Streamlines repetitive tasks like formatting, encoding, and conversions, which can significantly speed up development workflows compared to searching for individual tools.
  • Accessibility
Being web-based, it can typically be accessed from any device with a browser without requiring installation, making it convenient for quick tasks on the go.
  • Learning Curve
Having a consistent interface across multiple tools within the same platform can make it easier for developers to learn and navigate compared to using disparate third-party tools.
  • Cost-Effective Option
May offer a free or affordable alternative to purchasing multiple separate paid tools or subscriptions for different development utilities.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Information Availability
As a specific niche tool, there may be limited independent reviews, documentation, or community feedback available to fully evaluate its reliability and feature set.
  • Potential Feature Limitations
Aggregator-style platforms often provide simplified versions of tools that may lack the advanced features or customization options found in specialized standalone applications.
  • Dependency on Internet Connection
Being a web-based service, functionality is likely dependent on having a stable internet connection, unlike offline desktop tools.
  • Data Privacy Concerns
Using an online tool for code snippets, data formatting, or other developer tasks may raise concerns about how sensitive information or code is handled, stored, or transmitted.
  • Uncertain Long-term Support
As with many smaller developer tool platforms, there's uncertainty about the longevity of support, updates, and maintenance compared to established, well-funded alternatives.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing StayManual.app and DeveloperToolStack.

What makes your product unique?

StayManual.app's answer

The Call Host button is the big one. Most guest-manual tools give guests a single phone number. staymanual lets you build a small roster, owner, co-host, cleaner, night cover, each with their own days and hours, and guests reach whoever is actually on duty at that moment. A question at 11pm goes to the night cover, not your bedside table. No other guidebook tool we know of puts a schedule behind the contact button.

Beyond that:

  • The printed QR code never goes stale. Change the manual, even its web address, and codes you printed last year still open the latest version.
  • All twelve guest languages are included on the free plan, and things like Wi-Fi passwords are protected from being mangled by translation.
  • Guests never install an app or create an account.
  • Pricing is flat per plan, not per property. No per-guest fees and no cut of bookings.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

StayManual.app's answer

Where staymanual tends to win:

  • Guests reach the right person at the right time through the Call Host schedule, not a single number that always rings you.
  • Everything is included on every plan. Languages, video, the PDF booklet and the private-mode lock are not held back for a higher tier.
  • The bill stays flat as you grow: $15 a month covers five properties, where per-property pricing elsewhere adds up fast.
  • Guests never install anything or sign in, so the manual actually gets read.

It's free for one property with no card on file, so the honest answer is: run it next to whatever you use now and keep the one your guests actually read.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

StayManual.app's answer

Anyone hosting a short-term rental who answers the same questions every stay:

  • One-property Airbnb hosts (the free plan includes everything)
  • Couples or co-host teams running a few units
  • Property managers up to about fifty properties
  • Hosts with international guests who want the manual to open in the guest's own language
  • B&Bs and guesthouses

If you need booking sync or channel management, staymanual is not that. It sits alongside those tools and does the guest-facing part well.

What's the story behind your product?

StayManual.app's answer

The founder watched hosts he knows answer the same handful of questions every single stay. Where is the Wi-Fi, how does the gate work, can I arrive late, what time is checkout. The answers always existed, in a binder, in old messages, on a laminated sheet, just never where the guest was standing when the question came up.

staymanual is the fix: write the guide once, print one QR code, and every answer is on the guest's phone, in their own language. It is built by a tiny team that hosts talk to directly, so feedback lands with the person who builds the thing.
