   Has almost everything I need

   I've started using this as my main IDE for new projects when I'm trying things out. If it keeps getting better at the rate it has been, it'll be even better than coding locally.

  Take time to experiment with different things to see what goes well for your family. My kids enjoy Khan Academy, I get worksheets from education.com , we use starfall.com and abcya.com. I suggest a lot of board games, learning though gaming is great. If you kid has gotten into "cheating" I suggest the Cheater Monopoly game, just for an outlet. My son is going into 5th grade.   Just look for fun activities for preschool level, hands on things. Follow holidays/seasons to do activities about those meaningful times in your lives. There are a lot of fun online sights like starfall.com, abcya.com, education.com (games and printables). Starfall is $30 for a year, we love it still.
