So, I reviewed the questions list again but this time, since the time I did view it about 9 hours ago [1]. 10 were negative scored, 5 positive scored, 15 0 scored, 4 has received answers. This is better than normal for those ~30. Usually it's 80% without votes, without answers, without comments. So, this is a significan improvement... All that is left of SI are clueless questioners and bitter, jaded responders. But here's the interesting part. I realized the main culprit behind the lack of views wasn't the content of the video, but the shitty thumbnail. The content itself was excellent and had a good view duration, but no one was clicking the video. The thumbnail was just plain bad. I usually recommend going with whatever you're passionate about. You should pick a subject that really interests you that you could talk for hours about. My channel is all about youtube advice because I'm obsessed with giving youtube advice, even if my content got zero views I'd still be doing it because I enjoy helping people. I used socialblade.com to see if they could estimate how much Paul and Morgan makes off Youtube. I don't know if these numbers are correct, but if we assume they are, there is no way they can support themselves on their channel alone.
