SQLMaxx helps career switchers learn SQL well enough to land an entry-level data analyst job, even if they have never opened a database before.
SQL is the one skill almost every analyst interview screens for, yet most people learn it the hard way: jumping between tutorials, courses, and question banks, finishing a few, and forgetting half within a week. Tutorials end. Question banks assume you already know SQL on the first problem. Nothing tells you whether you are actually ready.
SQLMaxx replaces all of that with one engine. You move through 66 concepts in dependency order, from SELECT to complex CTEs, so you are never asked to write SQL you have not been taught. After every answer, the engine updates a real measure of how well you know each concept, then brings each one back for a short review right before you would forget it. Most SQL courses and question banks are the same for everyone. They end when the videos end, assume you already know SQL on the very first problem, and never tell you whether you have actually retained anything. SQLMaxx started from a common frustration: people trying to break into analytics jump between tutorials, courses, and question banks, finish a few, forget half, and still have no idea whether they are ready. The best learning systems in other fields, like the adaptive math programs that measure mastery and schedule review at the right moment, solve this by tracking what a learner truly knows. I learned off of Mode Analytics SQL tutorial. It's free and I use it as a reference when I forget syntax. From there, my learning style is to grind on practical questions that I would get as a data analyst. So I would recommend stratascratch because all their questions are from real data science interviews which not only test for syntax but edge cases and business logic. There was a comment here about using Leetcode, Hackerrank, SQL fiddle, etc to keep learning SQL. However, if you're aim is to go into data analytics you need to go beyond learning syntax and understand edge cases and business context. You should grind on some data analytics/data science focused platforms like stratascratch and interviewquery. They have hundreds of questions with many free ones for your to practice.
