  • Limited Advanced Topics
The platform may focus more on basic definitions and terminology, potentially lacking in-depth coverage of advanced programming concepts, design patterns, or complex technical topics.
  • Potential for Outdated Information
With a smaller community maintaining content, some entries may become outdated as programming languages and technologies evolve, without timely updates to reflect current best practices.
  • Less Recognized Platform
Being a lesser-known tool in the developer ecosystem, Codictionary may not be widely recognized or trusted as an authoritative source compared to well-established documentation and reference sites.

  • All desktop calculators are wrong, so I had to build my own
I personally really like using speedcrunch[1] as a desktop calculator, and it’s cross platform. It’s not doing pretty print though. Otherwise it’s wolfram alpha[2], but that needs internet. I never type calculations in any search engines, but that’s way too slow compared to speedcrunch. Maybe I feel similarly to chalk using a web view compared to how electron apps are seen by some. Displaying inaccuracies is neat!... - Source: Hacker News / over 5 years ago
