SpeakNotes
ParrotNotes.app

No description of SpeakNotes yet.

ParrotNotes is an AI note-taker for the conversations no meeting bot can join. Rather than dialling into a video call, it records what is said in the room — a client meeting, a site visit, a workshop, a corridor conversation after the real meeting ended — and turns it into a structured,...

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing SpeakNotes and ParrotNotes.app.

What makes your product unique?

ParrotNotes.app's answer:

ParrotNotes records your sales conversations silently in the background. There is no meeting bot, so your prospect never sees "Notetaker has joined" and never changes how they talk.

That also means it works where a bot cannot go. An in-person client meeting, a site visit, the conversation in the car park after the real meeting ended. If you can hear it, ParrotNotes can capture it.

Three things you will not find together anywhere else:

  • Real code-switching transcription across 50+ languages. A discovery call that flips between Hindi and English mid-sentence comes back clean.
  • Sales frameworks built in. Your MEDDIC, SPIN or BANT scorecard fills itself after the call, alongside 13 insight types and a follow-up draft.
  • A native Android app, not just Mac and web, so field reps have it in their pocket.

You can also share any audio file straight to the app and have it transcribed, and switch on audio auto-delete so the transcript is kept and the recording is not. That matters in compliance-sensitive industries.

The value is not the transcript. It is what lands in your CRM and your inbox afterwards.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

ParrotNotes.app's answer:

If you sell for a living, three reasons.

No bot. Otter, Fireflies and Fathom all join the call as a visible participant. Your prospect sees it, and some of them go quiet or start choosing their words. ParrotNotes records in the background, so the conversation stays a conversation. It is also the only way to capture a meeting happening in a room rather than on a call.

Built for sales, not meetings in general. MEDDIC, SPIN and BANT scorecards generate themselves after a call, with 13 insight types and a follow-up draft. Otter and Fireflies are general meeting tools that sales teams happen to use. The difference shows up in what you get back.

It is in your pocket. Native Android and iOS, plus macOS. Granola is Mac only. Fathom is web only. If your reps are in cars and client offices rather than at a desk, that matters more than any feature list.

Where the others genuinely win, because you should know before you switch: Fireflies has far more integrations. Granola has a cleaner interface and no recording length limit. Fathom has a more generous free tier. Gong has deep deal analytics and enterprise forecasting we do not try to match. If native Salesforce automation is what you need today, one of those is the better call.

If you want conversations captured without a bot in the room, and turned into something your CRM can actually use, that is the gap we built for.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

ParrotNotes.app's answer:

Sales teams at growing companies. Typically 3 to 30 reps, at businesses between $1M and $50M ARR, in B2B SaaS, professional services, real estate, insurance and recruiting.

The person who buys is usually a VP Sales, Head of Sales, or a founder still running their own deals. They are measured on close rate, pipeline velocity, rep ramp time and forecast accuracy, and they normally arrive with one of two problems:

Reps write two sentences in the CRM after a 45 minute discovery call, so nobody can reconstruct what the buyer actually asked for.

New reps take six months to ramp because they have no way to hear how the top performer handles the objection that keeps killing deals.

A third group finds us because of geography. Teams selling across APAC run calls that switch between English and another language mid-sentence, and most transcription handles that badly. Code-switching across 50+ languages is why they stay.

Second audience: solo sales professionals. Consultants, coaches, recruiters and real estate agents running ten or more client conversations a week, buying for themselves, doing many of those conversations face to face rather than on Zoom.

Not a student tool, and not a general productivity app. Everything in it assumes you are trying to move a deal forward.
