Compared to established platforms with collaborative features, MixQueue may lack advanced features like sophisticated recommendation algorithms, extensive playlist management, or offline listening.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing SpeakMetry and MixQueue.

What makes your product unique?

SpeakMetry's answer

Most IELTS Speaking prep is either static (books, question banks) or requires scheduling a human tutor. SpeakMetry is a live, real-time voice AI examiner that runs the actual 3-part exam structure, including the timed Part 2 long turn with its 1-minute prep, and scores responses against the real IELTS band descriptors (Fluency & Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range & Accuracy, Pronunciation) rather than a single overall number. There's also no subscription: everything is either free with daily limits or a one-time purchase.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SpeakMetry's answer

Cambly and Preply connect you to human tutors, which means scheduling, per-session cost, and tutor availability. ELSA Speak and similar apps focus on pronunciation drills rather than a full exam simulation. SpeakMetry is built specifically around the IELTS Speaking exam format itself, the same three parts, timing, and scoring criteria as the real test, so you can practice the actual exam experience on your own schedule, as often as you want.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SpeakMetry's answer

People actively preparing for the IELTS Speaking test, mostly students and professionals applying to study or migrate abroad, who want realistic, repeatable practice under real exam conditions without the cost or scheduling friction of a human tutor.

What's the story behind your product?

SpeakMetry's answer

I noticed most IELTS candidates over-prepare with memorized scripts and static practice books, then freeze the moment a real conversation doesn't follow the script. What's actually hard to practice alone is speaking spontaneously, out loud, under time pressure. I built SpeakMetry to close that gap: a live voice AI that runs the real exam format and gives detailed, criterion-based feedback afterward.
