Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing SparkFeed.dev and Tiny Tiny RSS.

What makes your product unique?

SparkFeed.dev's answer

Sparkfeed brings reading, team research, and agent access into the same source library. Follow RSS and supported websites without feeds, organize them by client or topic, and use Spark AI to help turn collected articles into briefs. Colleagues can work from shared sources, while compatible AI agents can access that context through MCP and the REST API. You can use the hosted service or run the open-source Community Edition yourself.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SparkFeed.dev's answer

Choose Sparkfeed if your reading regularly turns into research for a client, colleague, or project. You can maintain a source folder, save useful articles, and ask Spark AI to help prepare a digest without moving the research into a separate tool. Shared workspaces support team workflows, and API and MCP access let you use the same sources with your own tools and agents.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SparkFeed.dev's answer

Sparkfeed primarily serves marketing agencies, consultancies, and in-house marketing and research teams that prepare recurring client, market, or competitor briefs. It also suits founders, ghostwriters, independent writers, researchers, and individual readers who follow chosen sources, including people connecting AI agents to their source libraries.

What's the story behind your product?

SparkFeed.dev's answer

Sparkfeed is built by Sparkable around a straightforward idea: useful research starts with sources you choose. Its approach brings the reading process and the work that follows into one place, from following updates and organizing articles to preparing a brief and sharing source context. "RSS reader for agents and humans" captures that direction: a reader people can use directly, with a source library their teams and tools can also work with.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SparkFeed.dev's answer

Sparkfeed uses TypeScript, React, and TanStack Start, with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM for data storage. Authentication uses Better Auth, the interface uses Tailwind CSS, and Spark AI uses the Vercel AI SDK. External tools connect through a REST API and a Model Context Protocol server. The self-hosted Community Edition can be deployed with Docker Compose.
