SpaceSphere Live shows you what is happening above Earth right now. Watch thousands of real satellites cross a 3D globe, switch to the Moon, follow rocket launch countdowns, and see current earthquakes and natural events as they happen. Every number comes from a real source like NASA or CelesTrak, and you can always click through to check it. In August we are adding Learn: short space lessons that end with something you can actually see live on the globe, plus flashcard reviews and an AI tutor that only answers from verified lesson content. Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing SpaceSphere and PingPlotter.

What makes your product unique?

SpaceSphere's answer

Everything on screen is real and verifiable. SpaceSphere combines live satellite tracking on a 3D globe, rocket launch countdowns, earthquakes, natural events, solar activity and space news in one browser tab, with every value coming from an attributed source like NASA, CelesTrak or USGS. In August 2026 it adds a learning module where short space lessons end with something you can actually see live on the globe, backed by spaced repetition and an AI tutor that only answers from verified lesson content.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SpaceSphere's answer

Most satellite trackers show you dots on a map and stop there. SpaceSphere connects the data across layers (satellites, launches, Earth events, the Sun, news) and then teaches you what you are looking at. It runs in the browser with no install, works on mobile, is available in six languages, and the core experience is free.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SpaceSphere's answer

Space enthusiasts and self-learners first, plus students and teachers looking for a way to learn astronomy on real, current data instead of static textbook content. It also works for casual visitors who simply want to check what is flying over their heads right now.

What's the story behind your product?

SpaceSphere's answer

SpaceSphere is built solo by one founder in Poland under the SYGNITO brand. It started as a live window on Earth and orbit and grew into an education platform when it became clear that no one teaches space science on live data: every lesson elsewhere ends in a textbook, while here it can end with the actual satellite passing overhead.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SpaceSphere's answer

Next.js and TypeScript, CesiumJS for the 3D globe, satellite.js for orbit propagation from TLE data, Supabase (Postgres), Stripe for subscriptions, and the Gemini API for AI features like the grounded tutor and event briefs. Data sources include CelesTrak, Launch Library 2, USGS, NASA and NOAA.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

SpaceSphere's answer

SpaceSphere launched publicly in 2026 and is used by individual space enthusiasts and learners rather than enterprise customers. It runs on a freemium model with paid Pro and Orbit plans for power users.
