Soma.ink Reviews

  1. Finally, a note app that doesn't make me overthink

I usually lose ideas because I overthink where to put them. Soma felt different because I could just write immediately, and later I could actually find the note again without remembering the exact words. The auto title/topic part was surprisingly helpful, and the graph view made it easy to see related thoughts I didnโ€™t link manually.

๐Ÿ Competitors: Obsidian.net, Apple Notes, Evernote
๐Ÿ‘ Pros:    Very fast to capture notes (no โ€œwhere should this go?โ€ pause)|Ai auto-generates titles/topics, so notes donโ€™t stay โ€œuntitledโ€ forever.|Finding notes by meaning/context works better than basic keyword search.|Auto-connecting notes + graph view makes rediscovery easier.
๐Ÿ‘Ž Cons:    Itโ€™s still early/beta, so iโ€™d like more polish and better controls in the graph (filters, focusing, etc.)|โ€œno foldersโ€ takes a bit of getting used to if youโ€™re a heavy organizer.|Web-first experience (i personally prefer having a dedicated mobile app too).

    I'm glad to use this.

Iโ€™m the maker of Soma. Itโ€™s a zeroโ€‘friction AI note app: you just write (no folder decisions), and Soma autoโ€‘generates titles/topics, connects related notes by meaning, and helps you rediscover them later via semantic search or a graph view. Would love feedback on whether it actually feels seamless in real use.
