Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Socket for Python and Underwritre.

What makes your product unique?

Underwritre's answer:

UnderwritRE is built for speed and clarity at the front end of a deal. Instead of rebuilding Excel models from scratch, users input a few key assumptions and generate a fully dynamic excel model, clean summary, and comparable deal metrics in minutes.

Perhaps the most unique part of UnderwritRE is we are the only software to provide an analysis and excel model for a ground-up real estate development.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Underwritre's answer:

Most underwriting tools are either too complex or too slow for early-stage deal analysis. UnderwritRE focuses on getting to a clear answer quickly.

We also give users the fully dynamic excel model at the end of each deal. There is no other software that allows users such transparency as to access the backend formulas.

What's the story behind your product?

Underwritre's answer:

UnderwritRE was built by a former investment banker who also had a real estate modeling business.

The goal was to create a simpler way to underwrite our existing clients' deals quickly, in the same base template, although saving us time with all of the typical excel formula adjustments that come when customizing a model to a deal.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Underwritre's answer:

UnderwritRE is built for real estate professionals who regularly evaluate deals, including investors, developers, and brokers.

Itโ€™s especially useful for those who see a high volume of deal flow and appreciate detailed but efficient analysis.
