Social Fetch is the social media data API for teams that need to ship features, not maintain scrapers.

Every major platform changes its DOM, blocks proxies, and breaks homegrown integrations. Social Fetch handles that infrastructure โ€” headless browsers, rate limits, normalization โ€” so you get clean, live JSON back on every request. No stale cache. No per-platform parsers in your codebase.

What you can fetch: profiles and follower data, posts and reels, comments and threads, video transcripts, hashtag/keyword search, ad library intelligence, and engagement metrics โ€” across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, GitHub, Spotify, and more.

Built for: creator tools, marketing analytics, brand safety and impersonation detection, competitive intelligence, enrichment pipelines, monitoring dashboards, and AI agent workflows. Integrate with cURL, Python, Node, our official TypeScript SDK, or our MCP server for Cursor and Claude.

Pricing: pay-as-you-go credits that never expire. No monthly subscription. Start with 100 free credits โ€” no credit card required.

Not present

Llamaroo is an AI lesson builder for primary school teachers, tutors, schools, and parents who want to turn boring worksheets, lesson plans, homework tasks, or curriculum goals into engaging gamified lessons children actually want to complete.

Many teachers already use worksheets, slides, quiz tools, or AI writing assistants, but those usually create static content or disconnected activities. Llamaroo turns the same materials into gamified, story-driven lessons with characters, editable activities, dialogue, choices, sorting tasks, collection challenges, mini-games, comprehension checks, and exit tickets.

Teachers and tutors can AI generate lessons from a prompt, voice note, worksheet, slide deck, or existing course material, then adapt the lesson by year group, reading level, subject, and learner needs. Parents can use Llamaroo to support learning at home with structured, age-appropriate activities that feel more like a guided learning adventure than another homework worksheet.

Students join by class code and PIN, with no individual student accounts, email addresses, or exposure to an AI model. Adults stay in control of what gets generated, reviewed, edited, and assigned.

Llamaroo is built for US Kโ€“6 and UK KS1โ€“KS2 learning across any topic including literacy, numeracy, science, humanities, and life skills. It helps adults save planning time, improve engagement, differentiate learning, and track student progress through a mobile and tablet-friendly experience designed for young learners.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing SocialFetch.dev and Llamaroo.

What's the story behind your product?

SocialFetch.dev's answer

Social Fetch was founded by Luke Askew, a developer who repeatedly ran into the same problem while building social analytics tools: every platform had a different API, different authentication flows, different rate limits, and different response shapes. Building and maintaining integrations for even a handful of platforms was a significant ongoing burden. Social Fetch was created to solve this by acting as a single abstraction layer, so developers can focus on what they are building rather than on the plumbing beneath it.

Llamaroo's answer:

Hi, Iโ€™m James, Co-Founder and product lead at Llamaroo.

I was a terrible student before I became a good one. I had a 1.8 GPA in high school, loved games and making things, but school never really showed me the bridge between what I cared about and what I was being asked to learn.

My one saving grace was that I was a fast runner, so I was able to join the track team at Boise State University. It was a very lucky second chance, and I sacrificed a lot of my 20s to rebuild myself academically, and eventually made it to Oxford for my MBA. It was a painful journey which I want to help others avoid.

Later, I worked as a Product Manager on games like Candy Crush, which changed how I saw attention. AAA Games are designed with enormous care: pacing, feedback, challenge, rewards, emotional momentum. But that also made me more cautious, because so much care was being put into products that were pure brain rot. Thereโ€™s a time and place for games, but why canโ€™t such care be placed into other goals, like learning?

My co-founder Rohitโ€™s story comes from the parent side. His six-year-old daughter loves gamified learning, but a lot of these games are topic-locked and don't give teachers and parents flexibility on the content provided. She always asks to โ€œplayโ€ Duolingo, but Rohit wished there was an app that could be โ€œDuolingo for any topicโ€.

Thatโ€™s where our Llamaroo project started. His needs as a parent, and my expertise as a game developer. This became part of our shared conviction: play can be a route into cognition, but only if the pedagogy is designed properly.

So Llamaroo is our attempt to make that practical.

Llamaroo helps teachers or parents turn an existing lesson, worksheet, topic, or rough idea into a playable, story-driven learning experience.

Our AI can benchmark against US/UK curriculums and year-groups. We use an advanced version of Bloomโ€™s Revised Taxonomy to create natural learning progressions as students go through the lessons.

Teachers and parents always stay in control: they generate, review, edit, and approve.

Once a course is approved and "activated" into a โ€œClassroomโ€, students can join through a class code/PIN and experience characters, story, activities, games, and progress tracking rather than an open-ended AI chat.

What makes your product unique?

SocialFetch.dev's answer

Social Fetch provides a unified REST API that lets developers collect public data from 20+ social platforms โ€” TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook, Threads, and more โ€” using a single consistent JSON schema. There is no need to learn or maintain separate APIs for each network. Credits never expire, and you only pay for what you use, making it ideal for both prototyping and production-scale data pipelines.

Llamaroo's answer:

Llamaroo combines AI lesson creation with gamified, story-driven learning for primary education. Instead of generating static worksheets or simple quizzes, it turns teacher materials, prompts, curriculum goals, or lesson plans into structured digital lessons with stories, choices, dialogue, sorting, collection activities, and mini-games. Teachers stay in control of the content before students use it, and students can join with class codes and PINs without needing individual accounts or exposure to an AI model.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SocialFetch.dev's answer

Unlike solutions that require you to set up and maintain separate API integrations for each platform, Social Fetch gives you one API key and one consistent schema across all supported networks. You get the same response structure whether you are fetching TikTok videos, Instagram posts, or YouTube channels. The pay-as-you-go model means no wasted monthly spend on idle subscriptions, and credits never expire so there is no pressure to use them up.

Llamaroo's answer:

Choose Llamaroo if you want to be able to turn any topic into a โ€œDuolingo-likeโ€ experience in minutes.

Llamaroo is more than an AI worksheet generator or quiz tool. It helps teachers, tutors, schools, and parents create complete interactive lessons from existing materials in minutes, adapt them by learner level, and deliver them through a guided student experience. It is built specifically for young learners, with adult-reviewed content, visual feedback, progress tracking, and student access that avoids personal accounts and open-ended AI interaction.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SocialFetch.dev's answer

Social Fetch is primarily used by developers, data engineers, and growth marketers who need programmatic access to social media data without building and maintaining individual platform integrations. Common use cases include social analytics tools, influencer research platforms, content aggregation pipelines, brand monitoring dashboards, and AI training datasets that require large-scale social content.

Llamaroo's answer:

Llamaroo is built for primary-school teachers, tutors, schools, and parents supporting children aged roughly 6 to 11. Its main audience is US Kโ€“6 and UK KS1โ€“KS2 educators who want to turn classroom materials, curriculum objectives, worksheets, or lesson ideas into engaging digital lessons for literacy, numeracy, science, humanities, and life skills.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SocialFetch.dev's answer

Social Fetch is built on Next.js and TypeScript, deployed on Vercel. The API layer is serverless and runs on edge infrastructure for low latency globally. Data is processed and stored using cloud-native services, and the platform uses tRPC for type-safe internal APIs. The codebase is a TypeScript monorepo, enabling shared types between the API, frontend, and internal tooling.

Llamaroo's answer:

React, TypeScript, Vite, Supabase, Clerk, Google Gemini, Mixpanel, Stripe, Framer Motion, React Router, Zod, PDF.js, Mammoth, XLSX, JSZip, QR code tooling, and Cloudflare R2-style asset storage workflows. The app also uses tools for document import, AI-assisted lesson generation, analytics, billing, authentication, and student/classroom delivery.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?
